Set in the context of stately early 20thcentury houses, this project harkens back to an earlier time. Our design accumulates an ambitious program for a young family with a five-part colonial revival composition in brick and wood. Taking advantage of a generous sloping site the design accommodates three levels of active indoor and outdoor living. All of the principal rooms flank a courtyard embraced by the L-shaped plane using advanced construction methodology. This house is extremely energy efficient and detailed for longevity.

Decking boards installation - part of the process is installing parting boards in the center of the deck. Parting boards provide extra water drainage, improve the aesthetics, safety, and often the longevity of decks. Also they make the deck looks terrific!

This Transitional -Whimsical bathroom remodel is simplified by the natural stain used for the vanity. Taking the glass backsplash 3 tiles high minimum, helps this bathroom to feel larger. Food for thought; when using any glass tile, thinset must be white. Whatever color goes behind the glass, will show through. Also, keeping a 1/16 grout line increases the longevity of a space. Larger grout lines are typically not built for visual longevity, unless used in brick install.

Cork. It's not just for wine stoppers or bulletin boards. It's a natural green product from cork trees. It's fire resistant, mold resistant, has a high traffic capability and longevity. Cork is nature's green flooring. It acts as a sound barrier which is why we used it in this music room under the piano.
