The Made to Last team kept much of the existing footprint and original feel of the cabin while implementing the new elements these clients wanted. To expand the outdoor space, they installed a composite wrap-around deck with picture frame installation, built to last a lifetime. Inside, no opportunity was lost to add additional storage space, including a pantry and hidden shelving throughout. Finally, by adding a two-story addition on the back of the existing A-frame, they were able to create a better kitchen layout, a welcoming entranceway with a proper porch, and larger windows to provide plenty of natural light and views of the ocean and rugged Thetis Island scenery. There is a guest room and bathroom towards the back of the A-frame. The master suite of this home is located in the upper loft and includes an ensuite and additional upstairs living space.

Black bathroom with high end finishes, custom vanity with double sinks and makeup application area. This bathroom is small but packs a punch with each and every last detail. Infinity mirror, back lit, atop three dimensional cream color tile. The vessel sinks sit atop gorgeous black and white granite that flows on the horizontal and is mitered at the corners. Hanging pendants flanking the makeup area have a bubble effect and create the perfect light for applying makeup. The fittings are Graff.

Custom mixed designer white spray finished in house - designed to be long lasting matt finish. Ash accent shelving brightens the room letting in more light from this compact master bed-room.

This Master Bath Remodel features a Davit free standing tub, marble shower and flooring. The Boy's Bath features Contemporary Cabinetry, tub and shower. The blue tile accent in the shower takes on the appearance of a waterfall. The Guest Bath, the last 4 images, in white tile with accent tiles in the shower.

In order to show off the tray ceiling and make the crown molding inside the tray more noticeable, we painted the center of the tray with the same color as the walls, but the vertical sides of the tray and the ceiling outside the tray are a shade that balances the carpet color.

This beautiful master bath designed by Jay Young, CKD, for his family residence leaves a lasting impression on each person that enters.
