1950's mid-century modern beach house built by architect Richard Leitch in Carpinteria, California. Leitch built two one-story adjacent homes on the property which made for the perfect space to share seaside with family. In 2016, Emily restored the homes with a goal of melding past and present. Emily kept the beloved simple mid-century atmosphere while enhancing it with interiors that were beachy and fun yet durable and practical. The project also required complete re-landscaping by adding a variety of beautiful grasses and drought tolerant plants, extensive decking, fire pits, and repaving the driveway with cement and brick.

Enveloped by walls of wood and white, the living room exudes the style of an opulent hotel lobby. A wood-panelled feature wall echoes the warmth of the wooden floor, while plush, indigo armchairs inject regal splendour into the otherwise understated colour palette. Abstract aqua artwork and classic wall mouldings serve as emblems of imperial charm, lending epochal character to the contemporary decor scheme.

A relaxed yet truly elegant room that is welcoming with it's light and breezy transitional style.
This french styled transitional room has elements of today's lifestyle while incorporating those wonderful and meticulous traditional details.
Shown is the decorative quatrefoil ceiling pattern, fully custom fireplace design, and beautifully detailed windows with a lovely view of the gardens.
The architecture gives the viewer a nod to the "transitional" French Country & Beax-Arts style with it's decorative ceiling but also a restrained design of the fireplace which allows the room to show all of its assets. Not one detail overpowers the other.
The furniture has a relaxed and a contemporary feel.
A rustic farm table with ornate lanterns make the mood of the room, casual yet elegant.
This home was featured in Philadelphia Magazine August 2014 issue to showcase its beauty and excellence.

The homeowners were seeking a major renovation from their original master bath. The young family had completed several remodeling projects on the first floor of their 1980’s era home and the time had finally come where they wanted to focus on the second floor, particularly their master bath which was cramped and overpowered by a Jacuzzi-style tub.
After multiple design meetings spent choosing the right hardware and materials, everything was set, and the transformation began! Drury designer, Diana Burton, began by borrowing some space from the bedroom this way they were able to reconfigure the whole layout, which made a big difference to the homeowner. The floating vanity cabinets paired with quartz counters, wall-mounted fixtures, and mirrors featuring built-in lighting enhance the room’s sleek, clean look.

The dining room design began with this massive custom cowhide rug rich in grays. The ten seat dining table is subtle in design not to overpower the details of the rug. Adding acid green colored armchairs creates contrast against the rug. The 3D wall art plays a backdrop to the LED recessed lighting from the architectural detailed ceiling with low hanging chrome lighting really brings this space full circle.

This 5,077 square foot Traditional Coastal Colonial custom home was designed by P2 Design. The home displays harmonious symmetry, with a horizontal white siding façade, van deusen blue wood shutters that complement the tasteful matching paneled front door, and natural stone chimneys. The architectural style fits neatly in the neighborhood by drawing on the surrounding colonial homes, giving it a touch of history, and blending it with a more casual traditional coastal appearance. These beautiful oval pivot mirrors are not only functional but also showcase the cararra marble on the wall. Unique glass pendants are a dramatic addition to the space as is the ikat wallpaper in the WC. To finish out the vanity space we added a shallow white upper cabinet for additional storage.

Washington D.C. - Contemporary - Kitchen Design by #PaulBentham4JenniferGilmer. All the wall cabinets reach almost to the ceiling and are accented with a slim ¾” recessed negative detail to add visual interest while keeping them from overpowering the room. Pairing the smoky woodgrain melamine and high gloss brown/gray PET gave the room a warm yet unmistakably European feel without being too stark and provides easy maintenance.
