This remodel was all about creating more space and better functionality for everyday life. By opening up attic space, we expanded the primary bathroom into a spa-like retreat. The laundry room was relocated upstairs for improved flow, and the former laundry area was transformed into a convenient new pantry. We also refreshed the bedrooms, hallway, and guest bath to tie the entire second floor together. The result is a cohesive, comfortable, and practical living space that perfectly fits our client’s lifestyle.

The best kitchen showroom in your area is closer than you think. The four designers there are some of the most experienced award winning kitchen designers in the Delaware Valley. They design in and sell 6 national cabinet lines. And their pricing for cabinetry is slightly less than at home centers in apples to apples comparisons. Where is this kitchen showroom and how come you don’t remember seeing it when it is so close by? It’s in your own home!
Main Line Kitchen Design brings all the same samples you select from when you travel to other showrooms to your home. We make design changes on our laptops in 20-20 CAD with you present usually in the very kitchen being renovated. Understanding what designs will look like and how sample kitchen cabinets, doors, and finishes will look in your home is easy when you are standing in the very room being renovated. Design changes can be emailed to you to print out and discuss with friends and family if you choose. Best of all our design time is free since it is incorporated into the very competitive pricing of your cabinetry when you purchase a kitchen from Main Line Kitchen Design.
Finally there is a kitchen business model and design team that carries the highest quality cabinetry, is experienced, convenient, and reasonably priced. Call us today and find out why we get the best reviews on the internet or Google us and check. We look forward to working with you.

A new second floor consisting of a master bedroom suite and den was added to this modest rancher. From the upper and lower decks one has views of the bay on the left and the ocean to the right.

This "perfect-sized" laundry room is just off the mudroom and can be closed off from the rest of the house. The large window makes the space feel large and open. A custom designed wall of shelving and specialty cabinets accommodates everything necessary for day-to-day laundry needs. This custom home was designed and built by Meadowlark Design+Build in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Photography by Joshua Caldwell.

Renovated this 1970's split-level home in San Diego
using pre-owned cabinets and second-hand finds to stay within the client's modest budget. A combination of cherry cabinets, macaubus quartzite, and porcelain floors provide a warm and organic aesthetic.

Our installation team took on a big task—laying down approximately 920 square feet of At Home / Extraordinaire / Smoked Quartz carpet across the upper bedrooms, closets, hallways, and the stairs leading to the second floor. To tie the look together with the first floor, we stained the stairs to match the white oak LVP on the first floor, creating a seamless transition between levels.

The U-Shaped staircases ensure that the circulation spaces are centralized and reduce hallway space. Windows on both landings add light and character. The rustic wood panelling on the second floor landing is re-purposed slats from wood pallets.

Modern glass house set in the landscape evokes a midcentury vibe. A modern gas fireplace divides the living area with a polished concrete floor from the greenhouse with a gravel floor. The frame is painted steel with aluminum sliding glass door. The front features a green roof with native grasses and the rear is covered with a glass roof.
