Several walls were removed to create this gorgeous open plan. The laundry was in the back corner by the bay window where ovens are currently located. The laundry was relocated to the front of the house where they had an unused formal sitting room. The laundry is now inside the walk in HIDDEN pantry that is concealed by cabinet doors. The large island is an incredible work surface and social gathering area. The cabinets are Wellborn's shaker door style with Glacier on the perimeter and Shadow Charcoal for the hood and island. This turned out to be one of my favorite projects of all time! Great clients to work with.

In Arizona, the views are stunning! The mountain views never cease to amaze. When we were called in to help a client open up the views to their lovely, hillside home, Giardinello Landscape & Design knew we could take on the challenge. By creating a seamless connection between the pool patio and the previously closed off master patio we opened up this stunning view. The area right off the slate, master patio was an unusable, hillside that was open to wildlife...including rattlesnakes and coyotes. After clearing desert scrub and relocating cacti, a retaining wall was constructed and the area leveled off. Next, an unused fire pit was removed and awkward steps leveled off to create a large open patio. Fencing was re-worked to enclose the new area and pavers installed to perfectly match the existing patio. New plantings and an awesome putting green installed by Arizona Luxury Lawns & Putting Greens, finish off the new outdoor space.

Doors were removed from this closet to allow for open bench seating. The location was off a laundry room, so coming in and having a neat place to hang jackets and place shoes was convenient. The renovation to the Hart’s Run Kitchen was not just a simple redesign of the original layout: walls were removed, larger windows were installed, access to the rear deck was relocated, and the relationship between rooms reconfigured. Put the fun in functional! We helped this family make the kitchen more functional for them by removing the archway between spaces for a better layout. The Fabuwood Luna Timber cabinets provide more storage options and make use of unused areas. The new countertops are Metropolis Quartz and tie in well with the new Samsung appliances. The space is brightened by new can lights in the ceiling and a splash of Restful Sherwin Williams paint. Finally, the Frieze White Recede tile backsplash is highlighted by the undercabinet lighting.

In a row home on in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington DC needed a convenient place for their laundry room without taking up highly sought after square footage. Amish custom millwork and cabinets was used to design a hidden laundry room tucked beneath the existing stairs. Custom doors hide away a pair of laundry appliances, a wood countertop, and a reach in coat closet.
