The Master Suite of the Elmwood project was formulated from scratch in the spacious addition of a branching household. Our clients wanted to keep the neighborhood they loved while creating space for a growing family. DMB Design came into the project at the blueprint phase, offering our intentional consideration to the layout of the space before its physical creation. This offered us an opportunity to present our idealized iteration of a self-contained sanctuary space. We created a spa-inspired atmosphere, starting with the floating tub that captured our hearts from the very beginning. You'll find plenty of space to hang your robe in the 15-foot walk in closet complete with floor-to-ceiling custom built-ins. The suite maintains an aura of romance, creating a sense of delicacy without an ounce of fussiness.

Amoeba Fusion aims to empower societies by providing a space for decentralized, innovative start-up communities. onE.GLobe considers the built environment a living, breathing, multiplying organism, evolving in nature with harmony. The structure can grow horizontally and vertically by adding new cores in different directions per each site condition. It creates public plazas shaded and shielded by the building as it grows. Fully self-sufficient structure houses flexible 3D printed dwellings and workspaces surrounded by semi-open garden spaces and atrium. Thirty feet deep floor plates receive daylight from the exterior and atrium and can conveniently be used as open-plan office space. Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems are distributed through modular floor plates, on which 3D printed modules are flexibly plugged in. 3D printed inflatable shells with indoor air cleaning plants house a plug-in kitchen, bedroom, workspace, and bathroom modules. The bridge-connected clusters have decentralized systems with the off-grid micro-grid integrating renewable energy sources and excess energy storage.
Compact layouts provide space for an increasing number of entrepreneurs, making them socialize and inspire near their accommodation. Eliminating corridors in dwelling units with an efficient design and replacing them with the garden space surrounding units achieve this endeavor.

This breathtaking kitchen remodel strikes the perfect balance between timeless traditional elegance and modern culinary functionality. The result is a bright, airy chef's kitchen that feels simultaneously grand and warmly livable — a space the whole family gravitates toward.
The design is anchored by crisp white inset-style cabinetry with polished nickel hardware that runs floor to ceiling, maximizing every inch of storage while creating a cohesive, custom built-in aesthetic. The standout feature is the two-tone treatment: upper perimeter cabinets in a clean bright white contrast beautifully against the large central island dressed in a sophisticated warm gray, adding depth and visual interest without disrupting the room's airy palette.
Countertops throughout are a show-stopping Calacatta-style quartz, featuring dramatic gray veining on a bright white ground — lending the look of natural marble with the durability of engineered stone. The oversized island provides abundant prep space, seating for four along a generous overhang, and a farmhouse-style undermount sink with a polished nickel bridge faucet.
The statement-making custom range hood commands the cooking wall, flanked by stacked glass-front upper cabinets that showcase colorful ceramics as living decor. Behind the professional-grade gas range, a layered backsplash tells a tile story: classic white subway tile anchors the field, while a striking marble herringbone mosaic creates a focal tile mural directly behind the hood — a detail that reads as pure artistry. A wall-mounted pot filler in polished nickel adds both practicality and old-world charm.
Three oversized geometric polished nickel pendant lanterns hang from the tray ceiling, drawing the eye up while flooding the space with ambient light. The kitchen flows seamlessly into a sun-drenched breakfast room wrapped in plantation shutters and blue-and-white toile valances, where a warm wood round dining table grounds the casual dining area.
A dedicated butler's pantry niche off the main kitchen provides an integrated wine cooler, glass-front display cabinetry, a herringbone marble backsplash, and a dedicated coffee station — a self-contained entertaining hub that keeps the main kitchen surfaces clear and serene.

Primary bath expansion and remodel, showcasing large-format Breche marble-patterned porcelain tiles, beautifully complemented by coordinating mosaic tile on the shower floor. The space is enhanced with heated built-in bench seating and a custom niche for toiletries. Brass shower trim and hardware add a touch of elegance, while a luxurious Toto bidet offers modern comfort. The built-in double vanity, paired with recessed medicine cabinets, provides ample storage and sleek functionality. A convenient, space-saving self-closing pocket door with a quiet close mechanism ensures that those still sleeping in the adjacent bedroom remain undisturbed.

This versatile storage unit features a walnut cabinet, complemented by white lacquered doors and drawers. It features integrated handles and self-closing hardware. The doors conceal adjustable shelves.

Designed by Chris Fraser of Habitus Mode Architecture this architectural masterpiece sits on the sandy Pohutukawa lined cliffs of the Mangawhai Estuary and takes in the easterly coastal views and sand dune sunrises over 3 different levels. This home has it all with views to die for.
The master suite/wing takes pride and place at the corner of the dwelling with the main living and bedrooms making up the rest of the ground floor level. A large sunken office on the lower level completes the main dwelling of 370sqm. Tucked down towards the water’s edge a separate 30sqm boast shed and self-contained art studio or guest accommodation adds another bedroom and more usable space/storage for water toys

By eliminating the old bidet, and relocating the new toilet, we made space for the large, matching pantry cabinet in the toilet room. The new toilet does it all. It is a bidet, auto opens, heated seat, self flush and remote control. A gadget lover's dream!

Symbols are powerful in setting the intention of a space. We incorporated the Banyan Tree in the office design by commissioning a bespoke white plaster bas-relief piece from Simeoni Art Studio in Italy, inspired by a photo that we selected.
The Banyan represents growth, strength, and self-awareness through reflection, meditation, and a quieting of one's mind. It is said that Buddha found enlightenment after sitting under the banyan tree for 7 days.

Now a tailored sink skirt hides the pipes below the sink. Inverted pleats are in a contrast blue with self welting at the edges, and a nailhead detail at the top of each pleat repeats the military inspiration of the design. A cutout was needed at the bottom right to bypass the pipes there, and still allow the sink skirt to hang straight. The lined and interlined skirt can be removed for cleaning as needed. Linda H. A complete remodel of this entire home provided the flow and functionality our clients hoped for, within a space that befittingly showcased their favourite artwork and unique elements of personal self-expression. An artistic spirit is apparent throughout the home as complementary tones of blues, greys, and whites reflect and enhance the ethereal worlds depicted in their cherished art collection.
Art is just one of the passions of this family, who also required a kitchen suited to their love of cooking. Vast counter space with high-end finishes and substantial storage in the form of elegant cabinetry frame the centrepiece – a beautifully anachronistic oven imported from France. With its pastel cerulean colour, the range draws the eye and evokes the homeowners’ artistic sensibilities.
Similar pops of blue infuse the rest of the home with this cool worldliness, from the refinished bathroom with its walk-in closet, to the décor surrounding the stonework fireplace. This domestic composition is one which could surely fit in alongside our clients’ collection.
