The Quarry Mill's Primavera natural thin stone veneer adds a classic look to this expansive three car garage. Primavera is a neutral colored natural thin dimensional ledgestone veneer. The stone is a natural travertine limestone that is sawn to specified heights. Primavera is intended to be drystacked which is a masonry term for a tight-fit or mortarless installation. The stone has soft neutral tones of cream, buff, white and light gold. Primavera is unique in that the edges of the stone are soft and slightly rounded (similar to a tumbled stone). In contrast, most of our dimensional ledgestones have a sawn finish on the top and bottom of each piece. This is a premium quality stone we import from overseas as there is nothing like it in the USA. We have it in stock and ready to ship.

With the expansion of the patio, a great place was created for a conversation area under the shade of an umbrella.

Our clients’ recently purchase home is set in a picturesque location in Golden, Colorado. With idyllic square footage for raising a family, it was almost just what they wanted. However, the 90’s interior furnishings and dated layout didn’t feel like home. So, they reached out to TVL Creative to help them get the place move-in ready and feeling more 'them.' The scope of work included an overhaul of the master bathroom, full-home paint scheme, lighting updates, and new staircase railings. The most profound transformation within our scope was the master bathroom renovation. This luxurious space, built by TVL’s own Team Angel, is a calming retreat with gorgeous detailing throughout. Every part of this bathroom was gutted and we worked to establish a new concept and functional layout that would better serve our clients. As part of the transformative design, a calming symmetry was created by marrying the new vanity design with the existing architecture of the room. A feature tile accentuates the symmetrical composition of vanity and vaulted ceiling: large beveled mirrors and linear sconces bring the eye upward. Custom built-ins flanking the master bathroom sinks were designed to provide ample organized storage for linens and toiletries. A make-up vanity accented by a full height mirror and coordinating pendant rounds out the custom built-ins. Opposite the vanity wall is the commode room, bathtub, and a large shower. In the bathtub nook, the sculptural form of the Elise tub by MTI Baths compliments the arc of the picture window above. The Kohler Archer tub filler adds transitional and classy styling to the area. A quartz-topped bench running the length of the back wall provides a perfect spot for a glass of wine near the bath, while doubling as a gorgeous and functional seat in the shower. The bench was also utilized to move the bathtub off of the exterior wall and reduce the amount of awkward-to-clean floor space. In the shower, the upgrades feel limitless. We relocated the valve controls to the entry half wall for easy on/off access. We also created functionals shower niches that are tucked out of view for handy storage without aesthetic compromise. The shower features a lovely three-dimensional diamond accent tile and is wrapped in frameless glass for added light entry. In general, the space is outfitted with other stunning features including Kohler Archer fixtures throughout, Feiss decorative lighting, Amerock hardware on all built-ins, and cabinetry from Waypoint Living Spaces. From bachelor pad to first family home, it's been a pleasure to work with our client over the years! We will especially cherish our time working with them this time around to make their new house feel more like home.

Mixing a three-dimensional tile with a subway tile creates a unique pattern on a focal wall that has space to display the owner's vintage glassware collection. A quartz countertop cantilevers over the edge of the wood laminate base cabinet to create visual styling. White laminate cupboards blend in with the white tile walls and backsplash. Under-cabinet LED lighting provides ample task lighting. The wall between the kitchen and the living/dining room was removed, creating the open concept space owners look for today.

APD was hired to update the kitchen, living room, primary bathroom and bedroom, and laundry room in this suburban townhome. The design brought an aesthetic that incorporated a fresh updated and current take on traditional while remaining timeless and classic. The kitchen layout moved cooking to the exterior wall providing a beautiful range and hood moment. Removing an existing peninsula and re-orienting the island orientation provided a functional floorplan while adding extra storage in the same square footage. A specific design request from the client was bar cabinetry integrated into the stair railing, and we could not be more thrilled with how it came together!
The primary bathroom experienced a major overhaul by relocating both the shower and double vanities and removing an un-used soaker tub. The design added linen storage and seated beauty vanity while expanding the shower to a luxurious size. Dimensional tile at the shower accent wall relates to the dimensional tile at the kitchen backsplash without matching the two spaces to each other while tones of cream, taupe, and warm woods with touches of gray are a cohesive thread throughout.

By removing the closets there was enough space to add the needed appliances, plumbing and cabinets to transform this space into a luxury bar area. While incorporating the adjacent space’s materials and finishes (stained walnut cabinets, painted maple cabinets and matte quartz countertops with a hint of gold and purple glitz), a distinctive style was created by using the white maple cabinets for wall cabinets and the slab walnut veneer for base cabinets to anchor the space. The centered glass door wall cabinet provides an ideal location for displaying drinkware while the floating shelves serve as a display for three-dimensional art. To provide maximum function, roll out trays and a two-tiered cutlery divider was integrated into the cabinets. In addition, the bar includes integrated wine storage with refrigerator drawers which is ideal not only for wine but also bottled water, mixers and condiments for the bar. This entertainment area was finished by adding an integrated ice maker and a Galley sink, which is a workstation equipped with a 5-piece culinary kit including cutting board, drying rack, colander, bowl, and lower-tier platform, providing pure luxury for slicing garnishes and condiments for cocktail hour.

Featuring a fresh view of the new pantry wall, kitchen table, and food preparation area. The pantry wall provides much needed storage and a convenient staging area for storing groceries. The custom 36" x 48" table and chairs was created when the homeowner couldn't find an appropriate size and style to complement the cabinetry
This view of the kitchen featuring the rich old fashioned tones of the custom alder cabinetry with frameless full overlay doors in a shaker split door style and balanced by the Geriba Beach granite with a full backsplash.
The countertop is one of the focal points of the kitchen. The countertop selected was Geriba Beach Granite which is Brazilian granite noted for its 'great movement'. It is an ivory colored granite with very rich random patterns of burnt amber which complements the wood tones of the cabinetry. It features crystals that display an opalescent quality providing the granite a three dimensional character that, according to the homeowner, 'sparkle' when highlighted.
A full height backsplash was cut from the same slab as the countertop and provides continuity and visual appeal. To avoid dark surfaces, eight 6" recessed dimmable lights were strategically located for perimeter task lighting, and either SNL LED under cabinet lights were used as well.
Shaw Medin 18" square porcelain floor tile in a lighter tone helps create the illusion of a larger space with less grout joints.
