“We just finished up a whole house renovation due to a burst frozen pipe in the third floor. We didn’t know where to start but Matt walked us through the process and just took charge for us. He managed all the trades, from stucco remediation, to HVAC, cabinetry, and even new window screens. He was always available for questions and provided progress photos. He came in on budget and the finished product is beautiful. Just a great guy with whom to work and I would heartily recommend Matt.”

“The relationship with your architect is key to any renovation. You want someone who not only has good ideas, and is visionary, but who also is a strong advocate for you with your builder, and who also can help you navigate the process (with permits, engineers, town inspections, etc.) without losing your mind! I was naive about all the pieces of this project. With Covid, my project was particularly frustrating. I was impressed with Adam's design, and thrilled with his vision for lifting my house to create a full ground level with a garage (other architects advised me it was an impossibility). And more so for selling it to the Historic commission using the angle that it would improve parking, a town concern. He almost always picked up my phone calls, or returned my calls immediately. He listened, he held my hand, he spoke on my behalf to the builder, and especially with the town officials. He went above and beyond in my opinion. Two years later, my project is finally nearing completion! It was promised a year ago. I lost rents, I was fined by the town, I was put off again and again by my builder. I could not understand the delays. Promises not kept by my contractor. Total lack of responsiveness and communication. Be forewarned! Do your research. I have a new appreciation for what architects add to the experience. Good design, yes, but so much more. Or maybe Adam was an exception. All I know is I made a very good decision to hire him.”
