“My husband and I were very happy with James' work for us which included architectural work for our master bedroom and bathroom and our kitchen. Our Oak Park home is a 1906 gem and we wanted to keep the integrity of detail yet become more livable. Both projects included moving walls; designing wooden details--windows to cabinets--that reflected detail in the rest of the house; placing weight-bearing beams to support ceilings and roof; redesigning stairs to basement and back yard, etc. Vanderheyden is a good listener and a solid architect/designer. He worked well with both our contractor and kitchen designer to improve and carry out our designs. We give him 5 stars. Linda and John Hillman”

“Omar was recommended to me from JAR Corp. He was a delight to work with on this project. He was able to come up with Ideas that I would have never dreamed of by myself. Without Omar my project would have not been the same. He looked at wasted space and turned it into a walk-in linen closet. Everytime I open the door to the closet I say "Thank you Omar!" I would highly recommend Omar whenever an Architect is required. He will really bring your project to life.”

His Construction Manager is highly organized with a strong attention to detail, who has a natural instinct for helping select the perfect materials and products for the job, is very effective in making things happen, and is a delight to work with. His staff are all extremely professional, helpful, responsive, and really, really nice people. Their ability to meet deadlines and stay on budgets is excellent, and communication is superb. I recommend them highly!”
