“The Knox staging team is fantastic! I use them often for my listings and they always know exactly which one of their pieces will look best in each home. The result is a faster sale and very happy clients! They are easy to work with and do a wonderful job.”

“I have been working with Joshua Alan as my interior designer on the renovation of my gentrified wool factory loft, starting with the foyer and currently continuing with the bathroom. We already have plans to work together on the study and office, the kitchen, and the living room as well, which should already say a lot about the level of trust I have in him and his work. Josh is very good at listening and truly understanding what a client likes. He has a strong ability to translate abstract preferences and feelings into concrete visual directions. He consistently prepares thoughtful references and proposals, often hitting my taste very accurately from the start. At the same time, he is flexible and open to feedback, and when something does not quite work, he pivots quickly and proposes clear, well reasoned alternatives. He has a great visual sense, a wide range of ideas, and is comfortable exploring multiple design solutions rather than pushing a single approach. When challenges arise, whether conceptual, technical, or budget related, he focuses on finding solutions and clearly explaining what should be done next. I also appreciate that when I asked him to look for more affordable options, he was able to do so without compromising the overall vision. Josh is very communicative and reliable. He regularly visits the site, stays on top of progress, keeps me informed, and clearly outlines next steps. He works with a solid, professional crew and adapts well when circumstances change or when I come in with specific requests. On top of that, he is transparent about his pricing, which makes collaboration straightforward and comfortable. I intend to continue working with Josh on the remaining parts of my property and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an interior designer who combines strong visual skills, good listening, practical problem solving, and dependable execution.”

“We engaged Lisa Tharp Design to transform a Back Bay apartment to fit our needs as an empty nest couple. The LTD design team was thoughtful and creative in their approach to our space. They sourced both new and vintage pieces so that our space feels curated over time. Their process was transparent and respectful of our budget, tastes and needs. The team transformed our space into a beautiful refuge and we are very pleased with the results. The team was responsive, conscientious and thorough. We highly recommend Lisa Tharp Design.”
