My background is a BSBA in marketing. I discovered my passion for design while building my own home in 1999. Friends constantly asked "Who helped you with the interior design?" This lead to many friends & family asking for my help with their homes once they discovered I designed my home. I decided to explore a certificate program in interior design to expand my knowledge in the industry. This coupled with my business background & building experience launched me into my new career in January of 1995 when I started Laura Waxman Interior Designs. We begin with an 1 hour complimentary consultation to discuss your objectives. From here I begin the design process with you based on your individual style and my expertise advice to help guide you throughout the project. I will help coordinate with contractors & subs for the preliminary bids to the finished project by managing the entire design team. I will partner with you to create the finishes that will pull your home together. This includes custom window treatments, blinds, bedding, custom cabinetry, furniture, lighting, rugs, tile, hardwood flooring, paint & accessory selections. Your ideas and vision will be transformed into implementation with my ability to clarify the design process. I will help you simplify these paralyzing decisions by partnering with you. In turn you will end up with a flawless and confident design experience. Ultimately helping to make your house a home that reflects you!
