Interior Designers & House Decorators Near Chestnut Hill

“The Knox staging team is fantastic! I use them often for my listings and they always know exactly which one of their pieces will look best in each home. The result is a faster sale and very happy clients! They are easy to work with and do a wonderful job.”

“I have been working with Joshua Alan as my interior designer on the renovation of my gentrified wool factory loft, starting with the foyer and currently continuing with the bathroom. We already have plans to work together on the study and office, the kitchen, and the living room as well, which should already say a lot about the level of trust I have in him and his work. Josh is very good at listening and truly understanding what a client likes. He has a strong ability to translate abstract preferences and feelings into concrete visual directions. He consistently prepares thoughtful references and proposals, often hitting my taste very accurately from the start. At the same time, he is flexible and open to feedback, and when something does not quite work, he pivots quickly and proposes clear, well reasoned alternatives. He has a great visual sense, a wide range of ideas, and is comfortable exploring multiple design solutions rather than pushing a single approach. When challenges arise, whether conceptual, technical, or budget related, he focuses on finding solutions and clearly explaining what should be done next. I also appreciate that when I asked him to look for more affordable options, he was able to do so without compromising the overall vision. Josh is very communicative and reliable. He regularly visits the site, stays on top of progress, keeps me informed, and clearly outlines next steps. He works with a solid, professional crew and adapts well when circumstances change or when I come in with specific requests. On top of that, he is transparent about his pricing, which makes collaboration straightforward and comfortable. I intend to continue working with Josh on the remaining parts of my property and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an interior designer who combines strong visual skills, good listening, practical problem solving, and dependable execution.”

“WE LOVE REBECCA! This was our first time working with a home remodeling professional and I now can’t imagine doing it any other way (or with anyone else). We had a deep brown on our walls with dated early 2000s kitchen. We worked with Rebecca on options within our budget to update the look, including lighting and paint and furniture and we are THRILLED with the outcome—it’s lighter, in budget and totally takes into consideration the fact that we have toddlers and is livable/ not overly fussy. We can’t wait for the next chance to tackle a room with Rebecca!!”
