I relocated from Boca Raton Florida back to Milwaukee to get back home closer to my family. My sister recommended Andrea at Farr Interiors to help me in this process. I couldn't be more satisfied or impressed at how she brought my interior up to Wisconsin. Andrea worked with a local realtor to locate a condo to suit my needs. The unit the team located met all needs and beyond. The top floor overlooking Lake Michigan gives me the ocean front view minus the weather! LOL The space plan ensured what furnishings could come and what had to go. She used my existing swatches to drive the interior toward my existing colors. She had the unit painted, had extra lighting added, and carpeting. Andrea was completely devoted and committed to making this a seemless experience. I am so happy today to be in my northern version of Florida. I couldn't be happier! Thank you Andrea!

I have used Lex Designs on several “virtual” projects and the color scheme, decor, and furniture choices they helped me select made my home look brand new. It’s almost hard to believe the before and after pictures because of the amazing work Jennifer and her team do.

We had a terrific experience working with Stanly Interior Studios. We were looking to create a fresh look for our 1990’s house. We wanted a more modern look without getting rid of, or painting, all the oak trim. We didn’t know where to start. Tonya provided suggestions for wall colors, flooring, windows, window coverings, cabinets, fireplace updates, lighting, furniture and decor to update our space. It’s a beautiful transformation and we are so happy with the final product. Tonya was awesome to work with. She delivered on everything she promised and then some. Working with Mary has been a thoroughly pleasant experience! We are in the middle of a 2nd large project with her but have consulted her for several small projects, as well. Mary is a wonderful collaborator. She works skillfully with our ideas and general vision while gently asserts her opinions, which are excellent in their own right. I found a photo I was drawn to for our kitchen floor but our efforts to find the right material were unsuccessful so we began considering multiple alternatives. Our contractor then recommended Mary who thought my idea was perfect. She found the exact tile to realize the idea. The result was beautiful! Mary is prompt, professional, punctual and clear in all her communication. She works seamlessly with our contractor. She has a calm, gentle energy we find so reassuring during a period of upheaval and stress in our home and her costs are very reasonable. I whole heartedly recommend Mary as a designer!!

Jessica is a lovely person, and an insightful, creative, fun, and patient designer. We tasked Jesssica with our boring, difficult, oddly-dimensional family room. Not only did she listen to our layout wish list, she came up with layout options that we never imaged. The room layout now makes sense. She also helped us incorporate beautiful furniture into the room. The fabric choices are creative yet timeless and gorgeous. We always get compliments on the room now that it has been revived. The entire process was positive. She patiently listened to us, immediately understood our asthetics, was available to answer questions and was a great person to get to know overall. We immensely enjoyed working with Jessica that we have now tasked her with our laundry room.

In this new reality of daily Zoom meetings, we are repeatedly asked if our room background is real or a dream stock photo. Thanks to Megan’s beautiful vision: it’s real! I’ve read through her many 5 star reviews and all are correct: she is talented, professional, and has strong relationships with local contractors/professionals. Our first project was a gut renovation of our main bathroom along with a main bedroom refresh. Megan’s combination of high and medium end finishes created a lovely retreat that we continue to enjoy two years later. Given our previous working relationship, we now had complete trust in Megan’s ability to design our first floor renovation. We felt comfortable splurging on some investment pieces and feel she’s at her best when given free reign as a designer. Megan envisioned a space that exceeded our hopes: a gut renovation of our kitchen and office as well as refresh of our family room, living room, and dining room (cabinetry design, wall coverings, window coverings, furnishings, area rugs, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, etc.). Megan’s sophisticated prior work experiences have resulted in a home that is less typical suburban and more youthful, bright, and ready for entertaining. How fortunate we feel to have this “new” home now that we are spending so much time here in 2020.

I've had the pleasure of working with Sarah at Lady with a Toolbox on many home projects. She's helped me redecorate our living room, kitchen, sunroom, bedroom and completely gut our master bathroom.
