Diane, I hope Tuesday's procedure will be behind you and forgotten by evening. I'm thinking of you and praying all is well. We'd be holy terrors if it weren't for these aging bodies we have to nurse along. Speaking for myself, of course. Since Trish is going to be in Boise, she might as well pop over here and finish up my fall chores, too. Love that iris. Mine don't stay in such a perfectly rounded shape.
Gorgeous irises, Magpie and Kitty. I love the ones I have, but haven't added any new ones in years. My local seed and feed store always has a neighbor iris exchange, but I miss it every year. They go fast because they're priced at only 50 cents to 3.50 so it's a great and cheap way to try new ones.
Kristine, oh, brother! that's such a good laugh on me - Serbia/Siberia. I'm liking everything I hear about the Reminiscent roses. What a dear story about your mom and her irises, and horses, no less! Is that someplace you see very often? It was my mother who instilled a love of gardening in me, too. Even though we never had money to spare, she somehow managed to buy a few pansy starts for me to set out and take care of. Your baby is growing up! She is darling!
Thanks everyone for the iris vendor suggestions. Much appreciated!
Looks like HOUZZ is allowing 'likes' again.
