After- The new and old deck was stained with 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Superdeck stain. The railing on the upper level of the this deck that leads to the pool area was raised to 48" to provide for an acceptable barrier to the pool area.

We were challenged by our customer to create a river table without using epoxy, glass, or having a visible support through the river. Challenge accepted. The result is a truly one of a kind table using the natural imperfections of the wood to create a river effect. The customer selected a single slab of black walnut for the project that was salvaged locally here in Kansas City.

There was nothing simple about this project. From day one we were battling with the city permitting, neighboring tenants and time restraints. The day of the meeting, I gave them my oversized leather bound 250-page coffee table and said “Please accept my card “. No further words were required as they turned each page and spoke together. I was on board before the hour was up.

Requirements: 1. Mid Century inspired custom bed design 2. Incorporated, dimmable lighting 3. Incorporated bedside tables that include charging stations and adjustable tops. 4. All to be designed around the client's existing dual adjustable mattresses. Challenge accepted and completed!!!
