This project in Blue Bell involved a thorough renovation, including plumbing upgrades in multiple bathrooms and the addition of a tiki bar in the existing garage. We facilitated various plumbing installations, such as running gas pipes and adding an exterior faucet. Within the garage, we transformed spaces into a movie room, a powder room, and a tiki bar, complete with custom features like shelving and a gas fireplace. We also tackled flooring, doors, trim, and windows throughout the property, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic. Bathroom renovations included custom glass shower doors and unique design elements like cedar accents. Exterior improvements, such as door replacements and deck construction, were also part of our scope. Throughout the project, we adhered to building codes, completed necessary insulation and fireblocking, and applied paint according to the owner's preferences.

This luxurious and spa like custom bathroom took a cold and drafty backroom and converted it to a warm and cozy retreat as part of a guest suite remodel. We insulated the exterior walls and floor as we were adding a radiant flooring system underneath the bespoke patterned tile floor. This is a basement which had ceilings too low to meet code. We excavated 16" of headroom to achieve 7.5' ceilings! Wrapped posts with drywall. Sound batt insulation in ceiling for noise control. Stained concrete. IKEA kitchenette. Large egress window for maximum daylight. Added sewer pump since we were lower than sewer line. Two large closets, full bath and new shared (communal) laundry. Added window in bathroom. The space ended up to be about 450 square feet (including laundry), but the best part is that the main unit upstairs still has about 200 square feet of storage around the side and the back of the ADU. This 24x22 double-wide garage has 8' high ceiling with stairs to loft above. This Red Hook, NY garage was built with white pine board & batten siding stained with mushroom stain by Haley Paint Company. It has 8 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with BP Everest 42 (Fossil Wood Color) shingles. The installed windows are Andersen Silverline double-hung vinyl windows with screens. The garage doors are 9x8 insulated Homestead overhead garage doors with windows by General Doors Corporation. It also has an wood entry door with 9 lite window built by J&N Structures. To top off this garage, we added a B-24 cupola by Creative Cupolas.

The clients approached us with the goal of enlarging the kitchen and dining area of their estate style home in the town of Weston, Massachusetts. It was critical that the space fit precisely into an existing corner of the home while tying into the stucco façade. The traditional style of the room was to include classic conservatory elements. We achieved the desired look by utilizing large windows with a clerestory unit above. We also added crown moldings to the interior which established the classic style and feel the client sought. The room was fully opened to the adjacent space, thereby enlarging the grand kitchen and allowing a flood of natural light to enter the beautiful dining area. Because the room was opened to the house (and effectively became part of the living area), we fully conditioned the space which allowed for a balance with the existing environment. The use of energy efficient windows and doors as well as high performance insulated glass added to the comfort. To transition from the interior to the exterior, we installed an outswing French door which allowed easy access to the lovely patio area just outside. The completed conservatory adds space, natural light, and a luxurious dining area to an already beautiful home.

2011 NARI CAPITAL COTY FINALIST AWARD WINNER/2012 NATIONAL NARI COTY SOUTHEAST REGIONAL AWARD WINNER This creative design involved converting a plain basement storage space into a wine cellar and tasting room for a couple that is changing their basement over to an adult “play” space. The basement already has a movie theater, exercise room, and a game table. They had been visiting local wineries and collecting for a future wine cellar of their own and now was the time. The design needed to work around the existing ductwork for the main level, tie into the electrical panel and HVAC system, move the hot water heater and furnace with associated ductwork, and hide the sump pump in the corner. It also included an upgraded look to the cabinetry and shelving. The space needed to be insulated and waterproofed to maintain constant temperature. The remodel connected to the existing electrical system, adding a split cooling system to their existing HVAC. The HVAC for the cellar has its own ductwork and compressor system, but ties into the existing system for drainage. Cabinetry was modified to conceal the sump pump in the corner, as well as cut to fit around the overhead duct work that cut across the middle of the ceiling. Miniature LED lights were installed along the shelving to give a glow so the labels could be read. The tasting table has a granite top with a barrel curved edge. Small touches added to the cabinetry and racks make this a custom designed cellar. Textures in the tile pick up on the wood grain of the mahogany racking. The custom insulated door has a frosted design. There are a variety of lights used, all on timer, including the LEDs, recessed and puck lights over the tasting area. The raised tumble limestone and the rest of the design, makes it unique to these homeowners.

Our client wanted to upgrade their garage while also adding an art studio on the side. This included tearing down the existing structure and adding a new concrete slab where both the garage and studio could sit. We then framed, insulated, heated and powered the entire garage and studio. We added large windows along the front, side, and back of the art studio, so that it had a lot of natural light consistently lighting up the space. To finish it off, it has beautiful brown siding with a few black accents, such as the black door and the trim around the windows. It also has a lovely faux wood garage door which is a beautiful eye-catcher. An art studio attached to your garage? Who wouldn't want that!
