The transitional style of the interior of this remodeled shingle style home in Connecticut hits all of the right buttons for todays busy family. There are 2 and a half baths in addition to the master bath, and an exercise room and family room in the finished walk out lower level.

Client Kitchen Remodel 118 pantry bar is a striking addition in this kitchen. The original pantry had only a few cabinets and was mostly used for basic storage. The client’s desire is a beautiful butler pantry to include functional storage. Also, a full bar serving area. Therefore, new additional storage is added into the design for a more functional storage space. To include two large pantry combinations on each side of this beautiful butler pantry. Additional storage is added by removing one extra small fridge that is not in use. As well as planning for adequate storage below the quartz countertop. Which includes a microwave for those quick warm up items.

A smart solution for storing toys, clothes and bedding in a small space What makes pink "chic" and "in" for girls is generally unknown !? Although it emerged as a fashion trend sometime in the second half of the 20th century, it still persists. Today, the color pink is almost always associated with girls and a children's room in pink was requested by our client for her 4 year old daughter. When in the conditions of KOVID 19 children spend more time at home and in 4 walls, the request was to create a room that will provide adequate space for play. The very square of the room required to create an easily accessible storage space for clothes, bedding and toys, while leaving room for changes that will follow the growth and development of the girl. For these reasons, the bed is raised on the floor and a play area is left under the bed itself, with the possibility in the near future to turn it into a working part.

The curtains (color selected by client) were used to separate the bathroom from other spaces. The entire right side was left open to show enough space for a toilet, sink and storage. By leaving grab bars out, we were able to explain how building the space with 48" backerboard (or plywood) behind the tile enables anyone to add in grab-bars at a later time within a day for under $100 rather than requiring a total bath makeover when the need arises. Even given the small space, the shower had more than adequate space for multiple people in the shower (whether a parent bathing children or a grandparent using a PCA) and for use of vastly different heights of users. The entry level double shower had a metal holder placed next to the bench to enable the bather to place the handheld shower next to herself while doing other bathing activities. Senserit copyright.
