Designed to feel open, efficient, and effortlessly modern, this kitchen balances clean aesthetics with highly functional storage solutions. The primary objective was to open up the space while preserving generous storage, resulting in a layout that feels light, organized, and intuitive for everyday use. Cabinetry is tailored and purposeful, featuring classic door profiles with a smooth painted finish. Storage is maximized through intelligent planning, including a chef’s pantry, a magic corner mechanism, and drawer based base cabinets wherever possible for easy access. Open shelving was introduced on either side of the window to visually balance the elevation and add a lighter, more open rhythm to the design.

Our client required a Universal Design for a San Diego downtown master bathroom that was functional, safe, and comfortable. The client requested a design for her father who had disability challenges. The design encompassed a slide-in tub and a comfort height toilet with fold down balance bars on each side. The magnificent slide-in bathtub is guaranteed to bring back the pleasure of a peaceful bath once again. The interior designer, Marie Cairns, also designed the new bathroom to be vanity wheelchair accessible with plenty of storage. In addition a wall hung medicine cabinet was installed to provide additional storage.

Featuring a classic H-shaped plan and minimalist details, the Winston was designed with the modern family in mind. This home carefully balances a sleek and uniform façade with more contemporary elements. This balance is noticed best when looking at the home on axis with the front or rear doors. Simple lap siding serve as a backdrop to the careful arrangement of windows and outdoor spaces. Stepping through a pair of natural wood entry doors gives way to sweeping vistas through the living and dining rooms. Anchoring the left side of the main level, and on axis with the living room, is a large white kitchen island and tiled range surround. To the right, and behind the living rooms sleek fireplace, is a vertical corridor that grants access to the upper level bedrooms, main level master suite, and lower level spaces. Serving as backdrop to this vertical corridor is a floor to ceiling glass display room for a sizeable wine collection. Set three steps down from the living room and through an articulating glass wall, the screened porch is enclosed by a retractable screen system that allows the room to be heated during cold nights. In all rooms, preferential treatment is given to maximize exposure to the rear yard, making this a perfect lakefront home.

Custom architectural feature wall designed to conceal the condominium’s HVAC system while maintaining full access for maintenance through discreet push-to-open panels. Fluted millwork detailing, integrated wall sconces, and curated artwork transform a necessary building component into a refined architectural feature. The solution balances aesthetics and functionality, contributing to the seamless, uncluttered character of this luxury retirement residence in Unionville.

The only thing that stayed was the sink placement and the dining room location. Clarissa and her team took out the wall opposite the sink to allow for an open floorplan leading into the adjacent living room. She got rid of the breakfast nook and capitalized on the space to allow for more pantry area.

To help the pool look balanced in the room and to provide access to the patio doors and underwater bench, a stepping-stone path was created using sandblasted Eramosa flagstone. The stepping-stones not only add another texture to the room, but also look more interesting than a typical perimeter walkway.

This remodel transformed a dark, builder-grade kitchen into a bright, transitional space designed for multi-generational living. Warm tones, marble details, and repurposed brass hardware bring character and elegance, while the reconfigured pantry and abundant lower cabinetry maximize functionality. With the peninsula removed and no wall cabinets, the kitchen feels open, airy, and seamlessly connected—a perfect balance of style, flow, and practicality.

The cabinetry was designed with an emphasis on organization and accessibility with roll out drawers and shelf under the sink , cutlery tray and pot and pan storage.
The window sill was finished with Geriba Beach granite with the casing terminating into it for symmetry and balance. Lighting accents the granite and provides proper illumination for preparation.
According to the homeowner, she "loves her easy access to the cabinets. Every inch of space is functional, the countertops sparkle, are lush and rich looking and the storage space exceeds their expectations while sticking to their budget.
No longer is the kitchen drab, poorly lit and inadequately functioning, this kitchen is now a beautifully organized, efficient space.
