The original design had a wall separating the kitchen and dining room. We opened the two rooms up, buried a beam, and created one beautiful, open, eat-in kitchen with plenty of island seating and soft seating beneath the windows. This new design allowed for an immense amount of storage and functionality in the home.

This primary bathroom remodel was designed as a refined retreat, blending warm natural materials with modern architectural detail. A custom double vanity in rich wood tones anchors the space, featuring reeded cabinet fronts that add depth and texture. Quartz countertops and contemporary fixtures provide a clean contrast, while sculptural lighting and a floating makeup vanity with integrated LED mirror lighting bring a soft, ambient glow. The walk-in shower is wrapped in dimensional geometric tile, installed to enhance vertical movement and visual interest. A mosaic-lined niche and quartz bench introduce both function and detail, while a seamless glass enclosure keeps the space feeling open and connected. In-floor heat extends beneath the tile flooring and into the shower bench, adding comfort throughout the space. Thoughtful storage solutions, including a custom tower with integrated pull-out hamper and open shelving, ensure the room is as functional as it is beautiful. Nestled in the heart of Northern Virginia's wine and equestrian countryside, this one-of-a-kind Federal Colonial estate called for a staircase worthy of its pedigree. The result is a stunning main staircase that serves as the elegant focal point of the home's open entrance. Rich oak treads and risers rise gracefully alongside the home's curved walls, complemented by metal-forged balusters that nod to the period's craftsmanship. The design thoughtfully responds to one of the home's most distinctive original features: a semi-circular fanlight above the front door. This fanlight beautifully frames an arched opening beneath the stairs, creating an elegant passageway that provides both privacy and access to the formal great room and gourmet kitchen beyond. A complete outdoor living environment designed and built for a lakefront property in Northeast Ohio, where the water view had to remain the organizing element of the entire space. The plan is built around a multi-level paver patio set on a concrete base — a construction method that holds line and elevation through freeze-thaw cycles rather than settling over time. Curved steps with integrated riser lighting connect the upper terrace to the lower patio, and a seat wall with column piers defines the transition without closing off the view. A motorized pergola anchors the upper level, positioned against the home and detailed to match its lines. Beneath it, a full outdoor kitchen with stainless appliances sits under cover, with a lounge area alongside it. The lower terrace carries a gas fire pit and seating, oriented so the lake stays in view from every position. The in-ground pool was set into the grade between the patio and the lawn, with paver coping and surround carried through in the same material palette so the pool reads as part of the environment rather than a separate installation. Patio, pool, pergola, kitchen, fire feature, and lighting were designed together and installed by Allscape Patio. Every element was planned in relation to the others, which is what allows a space of this size to feel resolved rather than assembled. Scope: multi-level paver patio on concrete, in-ground swimming pool, motorized pergola, outdoor kitchen, gas fire pit, seat walls and column piers, landscape lighting.

The feature in this room is the apron style sink that is centered beneath the window. It is a SS bow front single bowl sink with a Raven BN faucet. This summer kitchen also features a stainless steel Monogram wine cellar fridge.

Touches of nautical red and sea blue add color to this neutral greatroom. Tan couches with nail head trim surround two large white coffee tables. Paired frosted glass capsule sconces with warm brass fittings illuminate the artwork from either side, casting a soft, gallery-like glow. The furniture selection is equally considered: a generous cream linen sofa anchors the primary seating area, complemented by a pair of sculptural dark leather swivel lounge chairs with a stone travertine pedestal side table nestled between them. A plush velvet ottoman, a brass arc floor lamp, and a soft gray area rug over wide-plank hardwood floors complete the composition with quiet luxury. Bar & Entertainment Area The bar is nothing short of a showpiece. Custom cabinetry in a sophisticated greige-gray, featuring a mix of flat-panel and reeded/fluted door fronts, is crowned with a jaw-dropping geometric faceted tile backsplash. The tile — a mosaic of black, white, and metallic stone set in a kaleidoscopic diamond pattern — catches the light and shifts dramatically depending on the angle. A pair of oversized brass dome pendant lights hang above a sleek island topped in richly veined dark marble, providing both task lighting and a glamorous focal point. Open shelving built into the backsplash wall displays sculptural art objects — including a carved Buddha head and white abstract sculptures — reinforcing the home's gallery aesthetic. A brass spring-coil faucet, integrated beverage refrigerator, and patterned swirl-print ottomans tucked beneath the island make this bar equally functional and unforgettable. Game Room A complete tonal departure, the game room embraces deep, moody drama through floor-to-ceiling dark olive green walls and ceiling. A large-format sage green square tile accent wall grounds a wall-mounted flat screen TV, while a mahogany billiard table with slate blue felt takes center stage on a vintage-style area rug. A sculptural brass sputnik chandelier overhead adds a touch of glam that keeps the space from feeling too heavy. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with natural light and offer serene woodland views — a beautiful contrast to the room's intentionally dark interior palette. Sitting Room A quieter counterpart to the more dramatic spaces, the sitting room offers a warm, neutral sanctuary. A modern channel-tufted sofa in warm gray is dressed with rust terracotta and watercolor sage pillows. A sculptural tub chair in textured charcoal fabric, a pair of curved bronze ottomans with ribbed white upholstery, and a small dark marble side table complete a seating vignette that feels curated and calm. Signature Art Installation Perhaps the most conversation-starting element in the entire project is a bespoke wall sculpture: dozens of white ceramic pods with gold-leafed interiors, arranged in a sweeping, wave-like pattern across a stairwell or hallway wall. The installation bridges art and architecture, transforming a transitional space into a destination.

This project showcases thoughtful design at every level. Beneath the basement stairs, what's typically wasted space was transformed into a cozy reading nook—a small sanctuary for dreaming, reading, and relaxing. Above, the staircase itself features clean, minimalist design: red oak handrails and treads paired with white-painted square balusters. This project included the complete renovation of the kitchen, creating a better connection with the dining room. We developed a welcoming space featuring frameless alder cabinets stained with licorice patina, engineered quartz countertops and wood panel refrigerator and freezer fronts. The Master Suite was also completely renovated to include an elegant and spacious bathroom with quartz countertops and natural limestone floors and shower walls with decorative accents. The walk-in closet features a fabulous dressing room with make-up vanity.
