The 1790 Garvin-Weeks Farmstead is a beautiful farmhouse with Georgian and Victorian period rooms as well as a craftsman style addition from the early 1900s. The original house was from the late 18th century, and the barn structure shortly after that. The client desired architectural styles for her new master suite, revamped kitchen, and family room, that paid close attention to the individual eras of the home. The master suite uses antique furniture from the Georgian era, and the floral wallpaper uses stencils from an original vintage piece. The kitchen and family room are classic farmhouse style, and even use timbers and rafters from the original barn structure. The expansive kitchen island uses reclaimed wood, as does the dining table. The custom cabinetry, milk paint, hand-painted tiles, soapstone sink, and marble baking top are other important elements to the space. The historic home now shines. Eric Roth

Wild Lupine / Lupinus perennis

This 1980s bathroom was gutted and redesigned to fit with the craftsman aesthetic of the rest of the house. A continuous band of handmade Motawi ginkgo tiles runs the perimeter of the room. Rich green walls (Benjamin Moore CC-664 Provincal Park) provide a contrast to the crisp white subway tiles in two sizes and the wainscot (Benjamin Moore CC-20 Decorator’s White). REFLEXA is a kitchen in post-forming shiny brushed laminated available in six colours: WHITE, RED BORDEAUX, GEM, ACORN, TITANIUM and LIGHT BLUE; the horizontal border of the doors frame is in PVC profiles of matching colour. It is an particularly eye catching product both in terms of look as well as composition, thanks to the lightness of its shapes, volumes and colours, all this combined to technological appliances of exceptional structural and functional quality.

This Dallas high-rise condominium with a 360-degree view of the city reflects the client’s soft contemporary and transitional taste. Our goal was to create an ambiance of casual sophistication that also conveyed a calm, relaxing environment for the homeowner. We furnished the open floor plan, containing entry, living and dining areas plus three bedrooms. One bedroom featured a multi-purpose setup, as it doubled as a den for her teen son to hang out with his friends. Custom furnishings are unique and were sourced from top quality manufacturers.

This stylish Brentwood home had recently been renovated while preserving the integrity of its original mid-century design, and architecture. With furniture and furnishings true to the stylish time period, this was a perfect yard to imitate the aesthetics of the infamous Brazilian Landscape Architect, Burle Marx. This family needed a fun, yet functional space to host friends and family; but wanted to preserve the timeless aesthetics of the stylish Mid-Century flare. Burle Marx is famous for his organic nature within modernist landscape architecture. We pulled inspiration from Marx, as one of the first people to call for the conservation of Brazil’s rainforests, to introduce a palette of native and beneficial plant materials to mimic his environmental efforts. We also pulled from his artistic expressions with our curved and dramatic garden bed lines, and placement of specimen plantings.
