Find the right local pro for your project

Cleanse the clutter in your bathroom by selecting a coordinated collection of bath furniture with spare sensibility. Dura Supreme’s “Style Six” furniture series is designed to create sleek, minimalist appeal. Bookended on both sides and across the top, a set of doors and/or drawers are suspended beneath the countertop. If preferred, a floating shelf can be added for additional and attractive storage underneath.
An offset sink is sensitive to space limitations and maximizes countertop capacity in this small bathroom. Louvered linen storage adds drama and coordinated beautifully with the vanity style. Style Six furniture series offers 10 different configurations (for single sink vanities, double sink vanities, or offset sinks), and an optional floating shelf (vanity floor). Any combination of Dura Supreme’s many door styles, wood species, and finishes can be selected to create a one-of-a-kind bath furniture collection.
The bathroom has evolved from its purist utilitarian roots to a more intimate and reflective sanctuary in which to relax and reconnect. A refreshing spa-like environment offers a brisk welcome at the dawning of a new day or a soothing interlude as your day concludes.
Our busy and hectic lifestyles leave us yearning for a private place where we can truly relax and indulge. With amenities that pamper the senses and design elements inspired by luxury spas, bathroom environments are being transformed from the mundane and utilitarian to the extravagant and luxurious.

Background/description: The house was built in 1908, my clients are only the 3rd owners of the house. The prior owner lived there from 1940s until she died at age of 98! The old home had loads of character and charm but was in pretty bad condition and desperately needed updates. The clients purchased the home a few years ago and did some work before they moved in (roof, HVAC, electrical) but decided to live in the house for a 6 months or so before embarking on the next renovation phase. I had worked with the clients previously on the wife's office space and a few projects in a previous home including the nursery design for their first child so they reached out when they were ready to start thinking about the interior renovations. The goal was to respect and enhance the historic architecture of the home but make the spaces more functional for this couple with two small kids. Clients were open to color and some more bold/unexpected design choices. The design style is updated traditional with some eclectic elements. An early design decision was to incorporate a dark colored french range which would be the focal point of the kitchen and to do dark high gloss lacquered cabinets in the adjacent coffee bar, and we ultimately went with dark green.

Defined by simplicity and precision, this his and hers custom built vanity highlights a pristine modern bathroom vanity with clean geometry and tailored appeal. The floating vanity design enhances floor visibility while maintaining practical functionality through seamless built-in cabinetry. Featuring a crisp white bathroom vanity surface and integrated sinks, this piece perfectly balances form and minimalism. Each detail—from the sleek bathroom cabinetry to the extended storage—supports a highly custom vanity design crafted for modern living. Grounded on patterned tile flooring, the setup reflects an effortlessly stylish, simple modern décor ideal for tranquil daily routines. The double sink vanity encourages shared use without compromising individual space or aesthetic cohesion.

Example of a large transitional master ceramic tile ceramic tile, beige floor, double-sink and vaulted ceiling bathroom design in Philadelphia with shaker cabinets, white cabinets, a two-piece toilet, green walls, an undermount sink, granite countertops, a hinged shower door, green countertops and a built-in vanity

The clients’ 1995 primary bathroom wasn’t functional or safe. They wanted it accessible so they could age-in-place. However, to keep costs down, they wanted to stay within the current footprint and keep the same general layout. Key changes to the project included replacing a double window with a single window. This allowed for the larger double bowl vanity and a double built-in linen cabinet. A 32” wide door was installed and the tub was replaced with a barrier-free, curbless, shower. A white painted Shaker style flat panel double vanity with rarely seen Lemurian Blue granite and two white undermount sinks were added. The granite is quarried in Madagascar and rich in iridescent, labradorite deposits is the room’s focal point. A curbless shower with a hinged glass door was installed. The colors of the shower deco strip reflect the vanity top color palette. Large format marble look white and taupe porcelain shower wall and floor tile with hints of blue were installed in the shower and bathroom floor. Taupe 2 x 2 tiles were laid on the shower floor. A granite shaving bench and two corner shelves for products were added. Delta Lahara polished chrome shower head and hand shower system, vanity faucets and a robe hook were installed. Polished chrome is repeated in the Schlage Accent privacy lever door handles and Top Knobs cabinet hardware. A large custom beveled vanity framed mirror and two polished chrome three-light vanity fixtures with white glass globes were also installed.
