About Us

We buffer and protect our clients from the various stresses of remodeling, while making the process fun! We are easy to work with and keep your best interests in mind, whether your project is budget friendly or an impressive elaborate design scheme. Tiffany is an industry-leading Minneapolis interior designer for affluent commercial and residential design, with award-winning retail spaces in the Twin Cities. She has enchanted spaces with her whimsical personality and precise vision in national restaurants, clothing boutiques, and residences across the United States and France. She started her career as a child growing up on a farm in Wisconsin, where remodeling an old hunting shack at the age of twelve lead her to find her love for interior design. She now owns and operates a boutique design firm called Tiffany Hanken Design, formerly Opulent Interiors, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where her focus is pursuing the most innovative products and resources to provide one-of-a-kind design for her clients.

I highly recommend the services of Tiffany Hanken & team - she is a true pro, and has a great eye for home & exterior design. My husband and I bought a fixer upper and knew right away we needed help developing and executing our vision for transforming this house into our home. Tiffany Hanken from Tiffany Hanken Design helped us from the very beginning and was professional and completely understood our design goals. We picked out hardwood flooring, paint, wallpaper and tile (floor, backsplash, fireplace) for our main level which included the kitchen, dining and family room areas. She also helped us redesign our front entry space which needed new railings along with decor to create an inviting and impactful space as guests first enter our home. In addition to our main level, Tiffany redesigned our spacious yet outdated and blah master bedroom into a "posh hotel retreat". While my husband and I had a vision for the space, Tiffany brought that vision to life. A new modern fireplace and tile was installed as well as new paint, carpet, window treatments, bedding, closets, and misc decor. It really was a floor to ceiling makeover that met and exceeded our expectations. We would refer Tiffany to others and would use her again in the future.

What a wonderful experience! Tiffany provided guidance in a fun, upbeat way. Our main project was a bathroom and the finished product is amazing......we also needed help with paint color in three other rooms and those are all fabulous!! What a difference paint makes. In addition, Tiffany helped with family room furniture, rugs and accessories. I would strongly encourage anyone out there looking for a down to earth, talented decorator with an outstanding eye for color to hire Tiffany Hanken.

Tiffany Haken Design provides a fresh a thorough prospective to interior design and home remodeling. I have work with her as a Realtor several times and she has been very instrumental in enhancing my client’s homes to appeal to contemporary buyers tastes. In one case the property sold first showing, first day on the market. I highly recommend her.

I have worked with Tiffany Hanken Design on numerous occasions - remodel of a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and dining room - all as separate projects. Each time I have been completely satisfied with the value of the services rendered as well as the quality of the final outcome. The work I had requested was on the higher-end of the price scale and the quality of the design, workmanship, materials, and project execution all exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a team of can-do professionals, Tiffany and her team should be on your short list.
