The builder was www.tartan-builders.com and they did a phenomenal job executing what we wanted. We went for a "modern farmhouse" look with French touches. Hosting holidays this year was only successful due to my efficient BlueStar.

This home blends light, privacy, and views. Designed by The UP Studio, it features a smart, people-first layout and amazing attention to detail. The vision at conception was to create a home with an emphasis on privacy, an abundance of light, building strong connections with the outdoors, and accessing views of the water. The living room features floor to ceiling windows with big views of the Cascades from Mt. Bachelor to Mt. Jefferson through the tops of tall pines and carved-out view corridors. The open feel is accentuated with steel I-beams supporting glulam beams, allowing the roof to float over clerestory windows on three sides. The massive stone fireplace acts as an anchor for the floating glulam treads accessing the lower floor. A steel channel hearth, mantel, and handrail all tie in together at the bottom of the stairs with the family room fireplace. A spiral duct flue allows the fireplace to stop short of the tongue and groove ceiling creating a tension and adding to the lightness of the roof plane.

The kitchen opens to surrounding spaces with home office and pantry tucked behind the scenes. White modern cabinetry with built in refrigerator and high end appliances are accented with modern black kitchen counter stools.

This beautiful, new construction home in Greenwich Connecticut was staged to showcase all of its beautiful potential, so it will sell for the highest possible value. The staging was carefully curated to be sleek and modern, but at the same time warm and inviting to attract the right buyer. This staging included a lifestyle merchandizing approach with an obsessive attention to detail and the most forward design elements. Unique, large scale pieces, custom, contemporary artwork and luxurious added touches were used to transform this new construction into a dream home.
