This suburban Toronto family had a small backyard which they outfitted for recreation and entertaining. The focal point is a symmetrical cloverleaf plunge pool which has a uniform depth of six feet. There are entry steps with underwater benches on each side with a spillover spa at one end and a Badu swimjet at the other. (16 x 16 custom rectangular)

The tree protection and lot coverage restrictions limited the size of the pool and deck. They could not encroach on the roots of their neighbour’s massive trees and the lot coverage was limited to 50%. This, along with the steeply sloping yard, meant the pool and deck would have to be kept close to the house.

Cool & Contemporary is the vibe our clients were seeking out. Phase 1 complete for this El Paso Westside project. Consistent with the homes architecture and lifestyle creates a space to handle all occasions. Early morning coffee on the patio or around the firepit, smores, drinks, relaxing, reading & maybe a little dancing. Cedar planks set on raw steel post create a cozy atmosphere. Sitting or laying down on cushions and pillows atop the smooth buff leuders limestone bench with your feet popped up on the custom gas firepit. Raw steel veneer, limestone cap and stainless steel fire fixtures complete the sleek contemporary feels. Concrete steps & path lights beam up and accentuates the focal setting. To prep for phase 2, ground cover pathways and areas are ready for the new outdoor movie projector, more privacy, picnic area, permanent seating, landscape and lighting to come.

The ladies closet is clean and organized, with simple, white cabinets surround the room and each section was carefully detailed and spaced by the homeowner. This sleek rectilinear pool measures 10'0" x 27'0", and the hot tub is 10'0" x 6'0". The coping is Valders Wisconsin Limestone. Both the pool and hot tub have their own automatic pool safety covers with custom stone lid systems. A large top step serves as a sunshelf for the pool-width steps. This professional couple in mid-town Toronto wanted a lifestyle backyard for recreation and entertaining which they could enjoy with their young children and extended family. A dilapidated garage at the back was removed to make way for a concrete pool, spa, utility shed, patio lounge area and elevated deck for outdoor dining.

A newly renovated twenty-seven-unit apartment building in Astoria, New York partnered with Rochon New York. Despite limited space, the Rochon New York design team designed a transitional open and airy gourmet kitchen, which is perfect for cooking and entertaining. The countertops are white quartz. The backsplash is subway tiles. GE appliances were selected. The floor is hardwood. And the Rochon wood grain cabinets have a flat door with a handgrip for a modern look. Since Rochon is the manufacturer, there is never an additional charge for custom sizes or colors.

This spa/pool has a shallow depth from 3 1/2 to 6 feet, so the water volume is small enough to be easily heated to 100 degrees F. Special wall construction allows for extra strength spa jets that throw streams of bubbles to the centre of the pool. (15 x 18 custom rectangular)
