When we bought our home we knew we were going to remodel. It's a relatively small house (2100 feet) but the configuration made it seem even smaller. It was built in 1964 and almost nothing about it was right. Teeny tiny bathrooms. Small kitchen. Dated wood paneling. Tiny area for laundry. An enclosed patio that had exterior siding for the interior walls. Terribly insulated. Walls needed removing...it needed to be gutted. You get the picture. I found GuiDenby on Houzz and met with Allyson and Robb along with a few other architects and contractors. I really liked one of their previous projects (Maverick) that was along the lines of what we were looking for (farmhouse style). I loved that they were a design build firm...having a separate architect and contractor seemed like a lot of moving parts to me...even though I know that's how things usually work. For me, never having gone through a remodel before, having everything under one roof just simplified things. Allyson took all of our ideas and needs/wants/desires and came up with four different floor plan options. We selected one and then made some changes from there. She also looked at my ideabooks from Houzz to get a sense of the style and look that we were after. She even helped narrow down the infinite number of items we needed to decide on (lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, etc) which was super helpful I was incredibly impressed by their team: everyone from the guys doing the demo work, to the framers, to the finish carpenters were easy to talk to and very courteous. Lannie kept the ship moving forward at all times and was very responsive to my questions and any changes we wanted to make mid flight (there were a few of those!) Which circles back to the design build side of things. It was so nice to have the architect in house...really kept things moving smoothly and streamlined communication. There are so many moving parts with a whole house remodel and there are so many horror stories out there...I am incredibly grateful to have found GuiDenby for our project. I couldn't be happier with the process and the final result. It's truly hard to believe this is the same house.

We hired Kirby Construction for a whole home remodel and six months later my wife and I still find ourselves staring at our home in awe. They did such an amazing job and were so great to work with. Being displaced for five months during the construction, they were more than accommodating and did everything they could to make the process as painless as possible. As with any remodel, we ran into our share of hiccups. Kirby handled everything with the utmost speed and professionalism. Can't say enough about the entire crew and staff. We get constant compliments from our neighbors, friends and family. To put it simply, my father is a retired custom home builder of over forty years and he stated "the best decision you made on the whole house was the contractor that you chose". Do yourself a favor and hire them for your project. (Our project went on to win the BANNER award for 2017 best whole home remodel under $1 million)

Mike and his skilled staff completed a full house remodel of my home in Caughlin Ranch and I can say they did a wonderful job and a year later we couldn’t be happier! I believe that Mike is one of the best contractors ever!

Where to begin...Trevor has been simply wonderful to work with. He is professional, has a solid work ethic and is a perfectionist when it comes to the infinite details of remodeling a cabin in Tahoe. Trevor's attention to detail is incredible.

What can I say, besides these guys are complete winners. (1) BIG return calls, emails and texts promptly (SHOCKER !); (2) they were always a minute or two early (ANOTHER SHOCKER !); (3) they completely protected the work areas, leaving them cleaner than before they arrived; and, (4) they did an incredible job. I'm not sure what you're used to here in Reno, but I am pleasantly surprised and will use BIG for any jobs we can't handle. Did I say these guys are great ?

Great communications. Met our expectations. Workers were all very respectful of our house and property. We're very happy with our kitchen remodel (cabinet reface and new quartsize counter tops) and with Angel. We highly recommend Arana Constuction, Inc and will use them again in the future.

John Anderson and his team at John Anderson Construction are excellent. We hired John and JAC to install new windows throughout our house, to renovate our kitchen and bathroom and to repair our bridge driveway that was leaking. In addition to being on time and keeping with a schedule, John and his crew provided meticulous work and John offered several good design ideas that we adopted. John was also great at managing the subcontractors and dealing with the city about permitting. We love the finished product and highly recommend John Anderson and JAC.

Chris is great to work with, he is honest, hard working, dependable, and delivers exceptional results. From full house gut/remodel to ongoing home projects, we are happy to have a trusted contractor in our area, Highly recommend!

Frank and his team of Sergio and Adear did a fantastic job on both of my bathrooms and tile around our fireplace. They arrived on time every morning until the jobs were complete. Sergio is definitely a tile pro. I would recommend them anytime.

Working with Plenium Builders has been a wonderful experience, despite challenges due to CoVid-19. Our project manager stayed on top of the details and communicated all pertinent information. We realized our high rise remodel would have its own set of challenges with our HOA, that said, they were quick to resolve all issues and concerns. In addition, they were mindful of the budget, while giving me various options as needed. Our superintendent’s attention to detail and quality of work was outstanding, along with the daily cleanliness of the area. Plenium Builders listens, communicates dates and timelines effectively and takes great pride in their work. They are professional, honest and trustworthy. Joe conducted a complete renovation of our kitchen, plus a couple of smaller projects. The kitchen renovation included new appliances, new countertops and updated cabinetry. Joe personally managed the entire project and brought it in on time and on budget. His crew was exceptionally competent and everyone was very pleasant to deal with. The cabinetry was probably the most challenging part of the remodel because the finish of the existing cabinets matched the natural wood ceiling finish of the kitchen and the adjoining great room, but the cabinets needed new hardware and additional drawers - they needed to be renovated/updated, not replaced. Joe and his crew came up with some very creative solutions and we ended up with considerably more usable storage space than we had originally. It's virtually impossible to see any difference in the finish between the new cabinet sections and the old. This was top quality work and we couldn't be more happy with the result. The smaller projects consisted of replacing the original deck and front stairs railing with new top rails and wire mesh, and replacement of a sliding glass door to the deck. The quality of Joe's work was excellent.

Neil is a consummate professional with years of experience. Neil approaches his projects with the client in mind. He is always available to answer any questions of concern. Perfectionism is one the main thing we liked about Neil and his workers. There was never any question of details or design. Neil will not accept mediocre work and his finishing carpenters and workers are the best. Our lovely Italian Mediterranean home still looks new. We never hesitated having Neil finish our walkout basement years later. Everything came cohesively came together. Neil's crew is top notch and they always respond immediately with any questions that you may have. We highly recommend Neil Adams Construction.

Love all the guys from TriEx! We used them when we bought this house to do some work. From removing a closet, removing an outdated home theater system (a lot of work drywall etc), repairing all walls and ceiling after new AV work was complete, painting, etc. We were so happy with them we used them again later to remodel a bathroom. Drake, Craig, Cez, their subs were all great to work with. They all seem part of our family! They are definitely our first call when we need any work done to our house.

Holm Construction did an excellent job on my storm damaged house Incline Village. They were so pleasant to work with and everything was done with quality workmanship. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering remodeling their home. I plan to use them again for a kitchen project in the future.
