“Jack's Ever GREEN Painting was tasked with the challenge of finding the correct black glossy paint and proper method of application to refurbish the central entry stairwell to our 1957 Robert Reichert custom built home. I contacted four different paint contractors that offered their services and made bids from $4,000.00 to $20.000.00. Jack's Ever Green came with a discounted winter bid of around 8k but more than anything they gave the most professional and trustworthy advice with how to handle the job. They worked with myself and my wife, who have been committed to not change any of Reichert's original design, ending up being shown three different acryiic paints; one full gloss, another partial gloss and a third bringing us samples to evaluate that had to replace the oil based paint. After much coaching and much fretting by myself, who changed his mind daily, ultimately we found the Acrylic paint that did indeed shimmer as the original oil paint did. The work took nearly a week starting with taping up the marble steps and then putting a Tent around the stairwell to use the sprayer. The features of the stairwell demanded in small increments in hard to find places brush work but the spray did exactly what it needed to do which was to not have any brush strokes showing through the paint. This was a masterful painting job and the professionals of Jack's Ever Green Painting with patience and care succeeded in replicating this portion of the Reichert house. “We got five bids, including Legacy, for painting the exterior of our house this past August. Our 21yo house is cedar shingle siding with a lot of detail trim painting involved, so we needed someone with attention to detail for this project. I was intrigued that Legacy Painting, in reading their reviews, had five stars on almost every review, if not all of them. I now know why, as I was impressed with this company from the first meeting with their sales team...on time, very professional and knowledgeable/realistic about the time line and painting techniques/products needed to do this job. Their painting team carried on the same great work ethic, and their communication with me throughout the whole process was impressive, no matter the day or the time, they responded to our questions/requests. The Legacy Painting crew blew us away with their attention to detail, starting with prepping the house, taping, sanding, etc. The crew was extremely professional on all levels, and very thorough in cleaning up each day. We also needed an oil finish applied to our wood pergola, and they found a great product for removing mildewed areas on the wood, so they did a great prep job before applying the oil finish. And we had some exterior trim that had wood rot; Mark, who is in charge of the painting, was able to find a guy up north to cut the specialized trim to match the original, and then the painting crew was able to perfectly repair this trimmed out area on the front of our house. Yes...they deserve five stars on many levels, and I'd give them ten, if I could. We plan on using them for some inside painting projects, too. Btw, their bid was in the middle of the four others, and it was where I thought it would be, considering the amount of detailed work it entailed. This company is the real deal for all of your painting needs!!!”
