This house and guest house were designed with careful attention to siting, embracing the vistas to the surrounding landscape: the master bedroom’s windows frame views of Taylor Mountain to the east while the vast expanses of south and west facing glass engage the Big Hole Range from the open plan living/dining/kitchen area.
The main residence and guest house contain 4,850 sq ft of habitable space plus a two car garage. The palette of materials accentuates rich, natural materials including Montana moss rock, cedar siding, stained concrete floors; cherry doors and flooring; a cor-ten steel roof and custom steel fabrications.

Bathroom - contemporary cement tile floor and pink floor bathroom idea in Santa Barbara

Imagine a modern Colorado home that unites two families with grace and green thinking. Boulder County Contemporary is a thoughtful space that blends privacy with flow, using good energy principles to create a peaceful, eco-friendly haven.
The family aimed for a home that joined lives seamlessly, with private bedrooms and shared baths for kids. They embraced feng shui for positive vibes, like a sunny entry with water that leads to mountain views.
Merging families can feel overwhelming, but smart layout keeps spaces personal and connected. It turns blending challenges into a smooth, light-filled experience everyone loves.
The core draws from modern simplicity – glass walls for openness, a foyer pool for calm, and paths that let energy move freely to the mountains outside.
Built sustainably with strong, green materials, including efficient windows and lights that save energy and last long in Colorado's climate.
Solar panels make it nearly energy-free, while native plants cut water use and upkeep. Solar tubes bring in natural light, keeping things bright without extra power.
Master suite on one end for quiet, kids' rooms on the other with clever baths. Windows everywhere fill the home with sunshine, making it feel warm and spacious.
Since 2016, this home has been a shining example of family-friendly design with heart. It saves on energy, promotes peace, and connects to nature – a true gem for joyful living in Boulder County.

Modern-meets-organic in this Mission Viejo kitchen, balancing clean lines with natural warmth to create a functional yet inviting space. A two-tone cabinet scheme - crisp matte white uppers paired with slim Shaker-style white oak lowers and island - embracing one of today's biggest kitchen trends: Scandinavian-inspired minimalism with organic modern flair.
The island, topped with sleek white marble-look quartz, offers ample prep space and casual seating, making it the perfect for both everyday living and entertaining. Matte black accessories and lighting with stainless appliances add visual interest while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.
A classic herringbone-patterned tile backsplash provides timeless texture and soft contrast against the simple cabinetry. The statement pro-style range and chimney hood elevate the cooking experience.
Warm-toned porcelain tile wood-look flooring and cane-back barstools tie the look together with an earthy, coastal-modern vibe.

This project took approximately 2 years to complete with 35 different phases of the landscape installation . This photo represents the end product with the garden at maturity in as little as 2 year's time. Our company installed 3.5k plants on this site with instant gratification in mind. Large 12' Canadian Hemlock, 14' Cryptomeria, 10' Magnolias, Hundreds of perennials, ground covers, edible and ornate shrubs, occupy this march like environment. It has a small creek flowing through the middle of the yard, which required a restricting plant palette. Ornamental grasses, hundreds of different varieties of Iris, boulders, and flowering ground cover were specifically chosen for this installation. The end result came out beautiful, and the native wildlife embraced it with open arms. On any given day you will see hundreds of butterflies, Hummingbirds, bumble bees, frogs, owls, etc. that call this their home. The client gave our company "Carte Blanche" and complete artistic license to do as we saw fit. You should see this installation in the late Spring when everything has come out for a new season, as it is loaded with color. Everyone that comes to see this garden is in awe.

An old stone mansion built in 1924 had seen a number of renovations over the decades and the time had finally come to address a growing list of issues. All of the home’s bathrooms needed to be fully gutted and completely redone. In the master bathroom, we took this opportunity to rearrange the layout to incorporate a double vanity and relocate the toilet (the former bathroom had only a small single vanity with the toilet awkwardly located directly in front of the door). The bathtub was replaced with a generous walk-in shower complete with frameless glass and digital controls. We located a towel warmer immediately outside the shower to provide toasty towels within easy reach. A beautiful Calacatta and Bardigiglio Gray basketweave tile was used in combination with various sizes of Calacatta marble field tile and trim for a look that is both elegant and timeless.

This 1990s home needed some updates in key areas of the home. We refreshed the family room mantel with a new profile and designer tile to liven up the living space, then took the home’s multiple bathrooms to a whole new level. In the master bathroom, we took out the builder grade tub and added a sleek soaker tub with more functional his and her vanities. For less maintenance, we used ceramic porcelain tile that replicates the marble the homeowners admired. In a smaller secondary bathroom, the floor is the star of the show and is appropriately complemented by the undulating quasi subway tile revealing subtle variations. We also repurposed their existing vanity and maintained a craftsman feel with clean-lined accessories to stay pristine. The third bathroom embraces simplicity with subtle texture, from the navy concrete looking floors to the unique ombre coloration in the 4×8” shower tile. We kept the overall design simple, leaving all the design details to exude from the variation in the tiles themselves.
