The Branson’s covered porch, with its sturdy tapered columns, decorative pediment gables and large picturesque window-scape, invites you to enjoy a refreshing approach to a two-story bungalow-style home. Upon entering, The Branson features a bright and open study with a double-door closure. Moving through the foyer into the adjoined, naturally-lit great room, the well-equipped café-style kitchen and flexible dining area instantly inspires the “Live, Laugh, Love” trifecta of family togetherness. In the kitchen, the oversized eat-in island commands attention while leading your eye up to the nine-foot ceilings, around to the cozy contemporary gas fireplace and along the durable plank flooring. Up the centrally located stairwell, guests will find the “family hub” with three large secondary bedrooms, an ample sized bonus room tucked into the corner of the second level for some recreation or relaxation, and a restful primary suite complete with walk-in spa shower, walk-in closet and separate water closet all adjoined to a spacious master bedroom. A single product that can do so much, Cork wall coverings has some fantastic abilities.
Costs of running an air conditioning system in the summer months has jumped up with the changes in our economy. The same can be said about the costs of running heating systems during the often frigid and chilly winter months. It’s time to find a walling option that can help to keep your property’s cooling and heating costs to a minimum. Look into the world of cork wall coverings. Check it out and be awed by the benefits it brings.

A married couple from Weehawken, New Jersey hired our Interior Decor firm to renovate the fourth floor level in their townhouse. They wanted it turned into a split bedroom/ play area for there 3 1/2 year old twins: brother & sister. We went vibrant with the play room by using Flor’s “Parallel Reality” Rug tiles, and added a colorful world map to inspire the toddlers’ imaginations. We also added a fun loft bed for the kids to jump & roll on while dressing on top Maharam fabric ” L” shaped pillows. We individualized each wall area with unique wall decal’s from the company “whatisblik.com”. An indoor play ground from Cedarworks.com plays as our focal play land. This room deff. got a blast of color by our Decor firm turning these little twins into TWO LUCKY CHARMS!!

One night just before Christmas, the driver of a car going 80 miles per hour, jumped the curb, destroyed a chainlink fence, shrubs, and slammed into a pair of cement paver planter beds. The pavers were launched with so much force that two vintage double-hung windows were destroyed along with two glass block basement windows. Still moving, the car rolled on its side and crashed into the North side of the Sunroom. All ten windows were replaced along with the glass block units, water-damaged framing under the stucco was rebuilt, and the landscape was restored.

The challenge for this couple was how to transform this historic Hinsdale century home (her childhood home) into their own, while honoring its heritage. The couple had updated the fireplace and lighting, but were stuck on furniture and decor. Woven shades, which were added in the 1900's, were a jumping-off point to add organic materials: acacia and river rock c-tables, rustic dough bowl, wood bar stools, mudcloth pillows, handwoven cotton throw, a stone coffee table as well as high-top bar table. Overall, the sense of the room is light, bright, yet calm.

The T40 Features:
1. SPACIOUS SHALLOW END BENCH SEAT
Want to take a break from the action and hang out with some friends? This seating area is properly sized to accommodate the whole family.
2. LARGE SHALLOW END FOR SOCIALIZING AND PLAY
The problem with most deep end pools is the tiny shallow end, which is where most people gather. The T40 shallow end is 30% larger than the industry standard deep end pool.
3. OPEN POOL INTERIOR
Want plenty of room to float and frolic? The rectangular design of the T40 provides ample room for all of your pool activities.
4. DEEP END SEATS / EXIT POINTS
When using deep end pools, people love to jump in, exit, and repeat. The deep end seats of the T40 provide a place to get in and out, as well as take a rest.
5. MASSIVE 8' 6" DEEP END
Looking for lots of water? The T40 is 6" deeper than most of the fiberglass deep end pools on the market.
6. AUTOMATIC COVER FRIENDLY
The rectangular design of the T40 allows cover tracks to be hidden beneath the pool coping, protecting them and keeping them out of sight.

Inspiration for a timeless u-shaped eat-in kitchen remodel in Houston with an undermount sink, raised-panel cabinets, dark wood cabinets, granite countertops, multicolored backsplash, ceramic backsplash and stainless steel appliances

In June of 2015 an amazing sudden summer storm hit our area with violent winds, rain, and tornados. In the aftermath, my clients found, on top of losing 30 or so trees on their property overall, one had actually struck their home, piercing the roof in their great room.
The great room was the very last room in their house that we hadn't done a complete overhaul in. Sure, we had tweaked it, purchased a few pieces of furniture, reworked the layout, but the colors and design were much the same as they had been for decades.
Since things needed to be repaired and painted already, it was decided to jump in with both feet and totally rethink the room, change almost everything, and add architectural details that seemed to be missing in the original design from the 1980's.
So not only were the color palette, rugs, and furnishings changed, but some very important architectural interest was added. For instance, a new, more elegant post was added at the back of the space, visually connecting the downstairs with the loft above. Also, three beaded beams have been added across the vaulted ceiling, as well as a large chandelier, giving warmth, light and visual heft to the peak and upper corners of the room.
The fireplace was given a total facelift as well. New original artwork, which had inspired the palette for the space, is now highlighted inside a custom panel over a beautiful new mantel and fireplace surround.
Even though this project started with something quite unexpected and scary, my clients tell me that the results are something that they just love and enjoy whether at home just the two of them, or entertaining extended family and friends.

The patio extension with all the outdoor kitchen amenities is ready to serve up a great meal, just steps outside our client's backdoor. Then when it's hot outside, it's on to the pool deck and off the custom tile- jump rock to cool off.

Details like the waterfall, jumping platform, unique hot tub, and slide make this backyard pool a luxurious place to play and unwind.
