We helped a young couple in Longmont who were feeling overwhelmed after attempting to renovate their starter home on their own. They wanted to wrap things up before starting a family, so we stepped in to bring their vision to life. We installed beautiful 4 1/4" country grade white oak for a warm, natural feel, paired with a stylish yet budget-friendly grey carpet to complete the space. The result is a clean, timeless look perfect for the next chapter in their lives.

This first floor remodel was a GAME - CHANGER for this house. We took down more than 3 walls and installed a massive support beam. The first floor of this home went from cramped and disconnected to the perfect space for family gatherings. After the space was opened up, we proceeded with a gorgeous kitchen remodel with a modern geometric theme. The hardwood floors transition uniquely and beautifully into the hexagonal floor tile. The back splash is simple and lovely, also following the geometric theme with the hex tile. The last hexagonal touch to this kitchen is its unique hardware. This remodel had several modern touches, without overwhelming the "homey" feeling of a fireplace and hardwoods. All in all, this remodel created the perfect place for entertaining and raising a family.

This kitchen remodel blends classic design with warm, contemporary accents to create a bright and welcoming space. Crisp white cabinetry is paired with soft blue lower cabinets, adding subtle contrast while keeping the overall palette light and timeless. A statement copper countertop at the peninsula introduces warmth and character, beautifully reflecting the glow of the glass pendant lighting above.
The textured white backsplash adds depth without overwhelming the space, while stainless steel appliances and streamlined hardware maintain a clean, functional feel. Thoughtfully designed for both everyday living and casual entertaining, this kitchen feels fresh, inviting, and effortlessly elegant.

Billings, Montana - The Experience With Local Our SnapSports Builder® And Their New Backyard Multi-Court.
" The people at SnapSports® has transformed our old cement basketball court into a multi-purpose area for our kids. Whether it’s our 3 year old on her Strider bike, our 6 year old playing Basketball, our 8 year old on her Ripstik, or the newest addition to the family just crawling on it, we feel more at ease with the new and Much Safer SnapSports Surface. Gone are the days of hard cement for them to fall on and it’s much easier on the knees when I want to join in the activities.
It was a smooth process for us to design our court and install the surface. Josh at SnapSports Of Montana provided us with Division I service. Our family is overwhelmingly satisfied with our new space and would highly recommend SnapSports to provide anyone interested in doing it right! Thanks Josh! “ Jim Stergar - Central Catholic School Basketball Coach

This custom TV wall was designed to create a warm, modern, and inviting atmosphere in the living room.
The design combines soft neutral tones, organic shapes, and subtle textures to add depth without overwhelming the space. The goal was to create something elegant and calming that would feel naturally connected to the rest of the home.
Every detail was carefully painted by hand, including layered textures and flowing lines, to give the wall a more natural, realistic feel under different lighting conditions throughout the day.
The final result is a modern focal point that feels soft, balanced, and comfortable while still making a statement.

This four-level staircase commands attention from the moment you enter. Serving as the architectural centerpiece of the home, its open design works in harmony with strategic window placement to allow natural light to cascade down through all four levels of living space.
The design makes bold use of contrast. The dark risers against light treads create visual drama, while wrought iron round balusters paired with painted wooden rails and newels ground the staircase in timeless elegance. The result is a semi-floating effect that feels both substantial and airy, anchoring the entrance without overwhelming it.

The stunning cobalt blue backsplash used across the sink wall! This client’s favorite color is blue, so bringing in enough blue without overwhelming the space was a fun challenge. The two-tone cabinets (wood stain & blue paint) and light countertops work well in making the space playful and comforting.

The generous use of white keeps the tall cabinets in this space from seeming overwhelming. Mixing colors, textures and depths is another good design trick to make a large space seem more intimate.

This after photo shows new paint on the cabinets, walls and ceiling; new counters, backsplash and window treatments. We also added a chair rail with wainscoating and pendant lighting by moving some of the recessed pots to align better with the existing island.

This one-acre property now features a trio of homes on three lots where previously there was only a single home on one lot. Surrounded by other single family homes in a neighborhood where vacant parcels are virtually unheard of, this project created the rare opportunity of constructing not one, but two new homes. The owners purchased the property as a retirement investment with the goal of relocating from the East Coast to live in one of the new homes and sell the other two.
The original home - designed by the distinguished architectural firm of Edwards & Plunkett in the 1930's - underwent a complete remodel both inside and out. While respecting the original architecture, this 2,089 sq. ft., two bedroom, two bath home features new interior and exterior finishes, reclaimed wood ceilings, custom light fixtures, stained glass windows, and a new three-car garage.
The two new homes on the lot reflect the style of the original home, only grander. Neighborhood design standards required Spanish Colonial details – classic red tile roofs and stucco exteriors. Both new three-bedroom homes with additional study were designed with aging in place in mind and equipped with elevator systems, fireplaces, balconies, and other custom amenities including open beam ceilings, hand-painted tiles, and dark hardwood floors.

This Lake Nokomis kitchen remodel blends fresh color with timeless materials to create a space that feels both inviting and highly functional. Soft green cabinetry sets the tone, paired with warm brass hardware and crisp quartz countertops for a balanced, elevated look. A farmhouse apron-front sink sits beneath the window, bringing natural light into the workspace while reinforcing the kitchen’s classic character.
The backsplash features handmade-style ceramic tile in a subtle checkerboard pattern, adding texture and depth without overwhelming the design. Open wood shelving flanks a custom hood, introducing warmth and providing easy access to everyday items.
Function was a key priority throughout the space. Custom cabinetry includes integrated pull-outs, deep drawers, and dedicated storage solutions that maximize efficiency while maintaining clean lines. A spacious peninsula creates a natural connection to the adjoining dining area, where bold botanical wallpaper and large windows bring energy and light into the overall design.
The result is a kitchen that feels grounded, fresh, and thoughtfully tailored to the way the homeowners live.

We want more breathing room inside our homes—an escape from the increasingly overwhelming and connected world that engulfs us. That’s why we’re opening up our door plans and brightening views to the outdoors. Naturally, exterior doors with wider views are the perfect complement to this desire.

Designing and building a new home can be very overwhelming but with the right contractor and sub-contractors the process can be very simple. These clients came into Ancient Elements Stoneworks with several ideas but knew they wanted a material that would create a dramatic feel. The clients ended up picking out a material that was in the process of being ship to Laramie. The minute they saw it in person they fell in love with it all over again. Please check out the images below to see how the process of designing, fabricating and completing this kitchen looked like.
