Built in 2004, our house had an outdated galley kitchen that left very little room for friends and family to gather. Patty, our designer at S&W Kitchens, had the vision to remove the walls surrounding the galley kitchen and create a large, open space centered around a beautiful new island. She produced a 3D rendering that helped us see exactly how the transformation would look before construction began. This was a challenging project that required extensive demolition, including jackhammering the floors to run plumbing and electrical service to the new island. I’ll admit that seeing everything torn apart made me a little nervous, but Patty’s design came together beautifully. The transformation is absolutely amazing. What was once a dated 2004 galley kitchen is now an open, inviting 2026 masterpiece with plenty of room to entertain and enjoy time with friends and family for years to come.
