“My husband and I just got our 1st home and wanted to do a full basement remodeling. We didn't know how to go about it and honestly had no vision for the basement aside from "we just want it to look nicer, be pleasant to be in, and maybe have a pantry". After reading the reviews on many different contractors, I decided to go with LD's, and 5min into our 1st consultation, was presented with a few different ideas that sounded better than anything I could have imagined. I got a quote, was told the construction would take 3 to 4 weeks (it ended up taking 4 weeks and 1 day which I was very happy with), and scheduled the whole thing. As things were moving forward, I was always informed of what the crew is working on, what possible add-ons would be recommended, on what could I save some money, and what's the best way to take care of things. The only thing I had to worry about was choosing the flooring (which I received a website info for) and purchasing the paint. My basement looks absolutely fantastic, I've learnt quite a few new things, and found a crew I know I can trust and would hire in a heartbeat if I need any other construction work done around the house. *LD's also took care of my poor flowers I had by the front door entrance, and taught me how to take care of them properly. It was my 1st time I had flowers stay alive for more than 2 weeks (they are still doing well), which made this experience for me even more valuable.”
