Design-Build Contractors & Firms Near Denver

“My wife and I approached Factor after a rainstorm caused a second-floor roof deck to leak into our dining room. We wanted to take the opportunity to turn some basic repair work into a full remodel of the space. The results far exceeded expectations. And notably, not just the results themselves, but the entire journey. What struck us as different about our Factor experience was the communication — both with us and between Factor and the teams they work with. On our very first day, Factor brought each of those teams together to strategize how best to execute our design. That’s not common in residential construction, getting everyone together at once. As a result, we were able to make some mid-course corrections that accelerated our timeframe while reducing some cost uncertainty. Factor isn’t the lowest-cost option, but that’s not the point. The teams they brought onsite were professional, considerate, timely, and took full ownership of their contribution through final punch. I’ve had to chase contractors in the past to get them back for punch-list items. Not the case this time. Our Factor project manager handled practically everything, took hundreds of photos documenting the work, and even spent the time writing up a daily log. At no point did we feel in the dark about the progress of our project. That’s not to say we didn’t hit unexpected roadblocks. You never really know what you’ll find when you start turning over rocks. The early demolition phase quickly unveiled some issues that went beyond our original estimation. Some even required a bit of clever engineering to avoid a substantial cost overrun. The strong relationship between Factor and its teams was particularly notable during these challenges. There was no finger-pointing, only a sense of collaboration that I hadn’t experienced in prior construction projects. While it took a while to get through the planning phases, the actual execution finished almost exactly on time. Our new upstairs deck is now a centerpiece of the home’s curb appeal. We couldn’t be happier with the results.”

“AWESOME is the only word that captures the work A2Z Builders did on my master bathroom and basement stairs. Both spaces desperately needed upgrades, and after researching local contractors and gathering several bids, A2Z Builders stood out with a reasonable estimate that fit my budget. I chose them because I wanted Architectural Digest–level design and craftsmanship — and they delivered. The basement stairs were in rough shape: worn carpet, damaged treads, scratched baseboards, cracked drywall, and poor lighting. I asked for something artistic to replace the eyesore, and they created a beautiful, striking transformation. For the master bathroom, I wanted heated tile floors instead of carpet, a refinished vanity, wallpaper removal, and repairs to water damaged drywall. The results are stunning. Every visitor who sees the remodeled bathroom and stairs responds with an enthusiastic WOW. The entire team was courteous, professional, and genuinely invested in bringing my vision to life. Working with A2Z Builders was a pleasure from start to finish.”

“Poonam and her team do amazing work! They are extremely professional and thoughtful. Poonam took our awkward basement layout and designed intentional spaces. There are purposeful places to relax, play and entertain. She showed me how to use the space that we had to its full potential. Poonam took the time to get to know us and our style and, along with our contractor, incorporated it better than I could have imagined! She designed our basement seamlessly to become a part of our home. We get complimented specifically on her fresh ideas every time we show people our basement. Working with Poonam and her team was refreshing in such a stressful time. We love our basement and feel blessed by the personal touches that she added in both her function and design. We highly recommend Poonam's by Design!”
