She was also just as invaluable with contractors, telling us straight whether a proposal was worth it and fairly priced, pointing us to better options when needed, and, on the rare occasion something went sideways, willing to be the bad cop to make the vendors to make it right. On top of it all, Diana seems to know everyone worth knowing: tile specialists, landscapers, cabinet makers, contractors, painters. Every person she recommended did beautiful work at a fair price, and she actively managed all of them for us so nothing fell through the cracks.
