This is an example of the dramatic use of damask wallpaper as an accent wall in a large room. Had the black-and-white theme of the room been carried out in the wallpaper the room might be overwhelming. The decision to use a more monochromatic damask pattern is an interesting, smart, stylish choice.

I really like the black wallpaper with the light furnishings and white ceiling. The chandelier looks like it's really beautiful, too. It might be a little too dark for me, though. I would probably just use the black wallpaper around the fireplace
