My next project: Currently working with an architect and contractor to improve storage, update kitchen and baths and overall improvement of flow throughout. Landscaping will focus on low maintenance with native plantings for water conservation and a focus on cat containment in the back yard. This is all in preparation for our retirement years and enjoying our home for many more years.
About me: I am a recently retired Registered Nurse with 36 years of experience in NICU. I purchased a 1923 Spanish-style bungalow in 1984. It has been a work in progress since then. The largest undertaking was replacing the foundation in 1990 after the Loma Prieta earthquake. A second bath was added in 1993. All work done within the existing 1300 sq ft. Currently working with an architect and contractor to improve storage, update kitchen and baths and overall improvement of flow throughout.
