Not sure I can define this but possibly elegant mountain rustic.
My next project: Building our retirement home. Design is nearly complete. House on lake, one story, walkout basement. Currently working on refining kitchen and pantry design.
About me: Built our second home in 1995 (on a lake in TX) when we were in our early 30s. Worked with a great architect/builder. House was beautiful and had great architectural detail, plenty of room at 4000 sq ft. Updated and remodeled several times over the 27 years we lived in this home. Loved the process! Our last major remodel in 2015 (kitchen, family room and master bath) turned out wonderfully. Left TX for cooler weather and more outdoor activities in early 2022. About to build our retirement home on a lake in western NC. Renting until then.
