Carter Fox Renovations was hired to convert this Toronto Beaches home back to a single-family dwelling. The homeowners wished to reclaim the space that had been isolated from the rest of the house by a basement apartment with a completely separate entrance. The living room wall was opened up near the rear door to regain access to the basement. In addition to entryway tile work and updating the exterior door to a full window pane, we updated the lighting, plumbing, flooring and walls. The clients were thrilled to be able to reclaim this space and create a functional family area without having to break the bank.
