The clients came in looking for a change for their one and only bathroom. They had requested as little pluming relocating as possible and better lighting due to the lack of windows in the space.
The corner podium tub with ledge and step, with a bulkhead over top was highly outdating and unusable. They wanted to enlarge their shower and the only way to achieve this while keeping a large countertop space was to relocate the shower to another area of the room. We opted for a single sink for extra storage with a small make up area and pull out for the heat tools. The clients liked the look and feel of organic finishes such as marble and wood, although did not want the upkeep of natural products. We decided to do thermoplastic cabinets with a vertical wood grain, quartz countertops, cement-looking 24'' x 24'' floor tile and imitation marble 24'' x 48'' wall tile in a vertical layout.
