I loved designing this Rustic meets Modern/Contemporary inspired Chef's Kitchen. The design and color scheme was based on natural elements, primarily wood and stone.

The wall that stood between the kitchen and dining room was taken down. A rustic beam was installed over the transition of the Kitchen and Dining Room where the wall stood to match with the design of the rest of the home.

The two tone cabinets paired with white counter tops were a must to add some visual contrast and keep the space light and inviting. The absence of the upper cabinets in the design gave the illusion of the kitchen being much larger, but meant we had to amp up the amount of storage. We added additional cabinets that overflowed into the dining room that complimented the space.

We continued the hardwood flooring right through the kitchen for a seamless look. We used minimal accessories to dress the space to really showcase the design elements. The presence of the painted canvas adds to the artistic flare this kitchen deserves!
