This duplex was purchased in 2012 after having been a [somewhat neglected] rental property for many years. While some original features were still in place, no surface was left untouched after the remodel. The intent is for the final design to appear as though it's always been there, beautifully preserved from 1958.

We scouted out a mixture of vintage appliances, fixtures, and furnishings, and creatively combined them with new to respond to modern lifestyles.

The kid- and pet-friendly two bedroom one bath duplex unit is now a furnished weekly rental in the Piedmont neighborhood in North Portland. It's nestled between the popular Mississippi district boutiques and restaurants, downtown Kenton with its galleries and cafés, and the polished Williams/Vancouver Corridor bistros and watering holes, and is a 7 minute walk to MAX light rail, grocery stores, and parks.
