Taylor Residence
We opened up this main floor space by taking down a dividing wall in the kitchen that used to make it feel closed off and small. Now, this home showcases an exuberant style and space to enjoy for many years to come. Gray stained Cherry Cabinets add a warm cozy feel that is accented with beveled marble subway tile backsplash throughout. Previously there was a lot of wasted space in the eat-in dining space area, so we added bench seating with storage and pantry cabinet space on each side to allow the kitchen to expand wall to wall on the back side of the house. At the center of the kitchen now has an elongated L shaped island that has a custom steel plated + steel leg dining table tiered down from the island that allows for extra seating for a more inviting dining experience and maximum use of space. Custom made barn doors in 2 locations made by Compelling Homes in-house trim carpenter allows this home to feel more open or can be closed off for appropriate entertaining space.
