The Chaplin
Designed for a subdivision with intentionally narrow lots, The Chaplin affords the homeowner everything one could desire in a one level home: natural light, privacy and lovely spaces inside.
Zellar Homes built The Chaplin for the 2011 Parade of Homes event choosing a side load garage design which in turn set the home further back on the home site, thereby allowing natural light and privacy into every room. Notice the transom windows on either side of the fireplace in the great room, full windows to the veranda, a full privacy window in the owner shower, full windows in the owner suite, windows in the pocket office and dining area and sidelights in the front door. This kitchen was a real hit with a scullery just through the arch housing the fridge, beverage fridge and pantry. Two interior windows highlight this home's uniqueness - Zellar Homes installed the arched window between the pocket office and great room as well as the unseen full interior window in the owner hallway, all designed to bring the homeowner more natural light to the home's interior. The guest suite is located at the front of the home, the owner suite at the rear....ideally separated for privacy.
