One of the most delightful examples of using children's art in decor is this one by Paige of the blog Simple Thoughts. The colors are so fresh and sweet, and the collection of simple frames work well together. But I think the best aspect is the addition of two cut-out figures hung within the mix.

Forgo the picture frames. There is definitely a sense of harmony in a collection of wall art that features perfectly matched frames. However, this sameness can also feel routine, and purchasing several frames can be expensive. But who says every piece of art needs to be framed? You'll achieve a seamless look and create a more interesting gallery wall by incorporating frameless pieces. Secure them onto the wall with double-sided tape or 3M Hooks, and you're good to go.

7. Children's artwork. The budding artists in the family may be coming home with dozens of pieces each week. What to do with all of that art? First, create an easy display area with room for displaying at least a dozen pieces at once. A gallery wall or large bulletin or magnet board would work beautifully. With the overflow, consider limiting what you keep to one box per child. If that seems like too little, you can also take digital photos or scan in the artwork and make photo books, for a solution that preserves the memories but takes up far less space than the originals.See more ways to display children's art

Creating a casual gallery wall in a hallway is a great way to showcase your children's latest work. By attaching similar frames to the wall without the glass, you will be able to replace pieces as your children's work develops.

Framed and hung together, kids' art can look downright gallery worthy.

Hang a group of your children's art on a single wall. You don't have to have them professionally matted and framed; just use paint a bunch of frames that are the same color. You can even tack up a few pictures with thumbtacks.
Alison Hodgson added this to Decluttering — Don't Let Fear Hold You Back
The drums started beating, and then the wondrous thought came: "Even if I had, it would have been lost in the fire." And just like that, the regret rolled away. The fire became a line of demarcation; any mistakes I had made in my home were forgiven because all of it was gone. Do you know how liberating that is? The truth is, as you declutter, you will probably make mistakes. You will almost certainly get rid of things you'll later regret, but I'm here to tell you it's going to be all right. Don't let the fear of potential regrets get in the way of a new lightness and freedom.

4. Get personal. Whether you live in a custom-built home, an older house or a rental, you can make it feel like you. Honoring your tastes — in color, art, heirlooms and accessories — will help you stay true to yourself and make your home beautiful, too. Guide: How to Make Your Home Feel More Like You
Becky Dietrich, Interior Designer added this to Fill a Blank Wall on a Beer Budget
While we’re on the subject of children, kids’ art is some of the most joyous, unconstrained, charming and heartwarming work on the planet. (And it’s really cheap!) It does not have to be framed; just hang it on the wall and enjoy. Your little ones will be absolutely delighted, and will probably deluge you with enough material to keep your walls ever changing and ever vital.
