I just came across this photo and saw the exact same lamp that I bought 3 weeks ago from an estate sale for $25. After seeing your photo I went and had a closer look at my lamp and it turns out it's a vintage Marbro lamp as well! I must have the matching pair to yours, how amazing! Thanks for the tip off!

I purchased this vintage, Danish, teak nightstand set for my client at Aero Studios in SoHo NYC. Not sure the designer or manufacturer. Thanks for your interest in my work!

Thanks for your interest in Sean Michael Design. I used Benjamin Moore's White Dove for the trim. I used Benjamin Moore's Stardust for the walls (not visible in this photo). The Stardust is a near match to the wood veneer wallcovering. Best of luck with your project!

Thanks for your interest in Sean Michael Design! This coverlet was custom made with a faux mink fur top and reverses to the dark plum satin fabric I purchased from Jim Thompson.

It is from a company that makes really beautiful wall coverings called Maya Romanoff. This is the Ajiro Diamond, which is made of Paulownia wood. You can find out more information here by following the link below. Good Luck!

What Houzz contributors are saying:
Becky Harris added this to Imagining a Stylish Nest for Beyonce and Jay-Z
Beyonce can rock a patterned deep-wine skirt, so why not dress the bed with it (and a fur throw)?
Kelly Porter added this to Wallpaper for Dark and Dreamy Bedrooms
When it comes to dark wallpaper, even a subtle pattern can add volumes of style. Geometric patterns are very on-trend now and look great in a contemporary space.
Kelly Porter added this to Deep Purple Dreams for Rooms
Silk or satin bedding in any color is extravagant, but in regal shades of plum it looks even more sumptuous.
Shawn Gauthier added this to Power to the Purple
Purple becomes even more dramatic — and slightly masculine — when paired with black. Whether you’re introducing purple through linens or furniture, consider black walls for a rich and bold look.
Lawrence Karol added this to Expert Talk: Spice Up the Bedroom With Wallpaper
Add some cozy to contemporary. Sean Cowan of Sean Michael Design used wallpaper to add a more intimate and cozy feeling to this contemporary bedroom."The subtle pattern in the wood grain adds a touch of luxury without adding an actual pattern that may date itself over time," he says. "It becomes visually textural and warms up the dimensionless wall behind the headboard."
Becky Harris added this to New 'Anna Karenina' Sets Inspire Aristocratic Design Twists
Trend twist: Silks go dark and rich. While we love the bold and bright silks that are popular today, the sumptuousness of elegant silks in deep burgundy, dark purple and black is irresistible.
Becky Dietrich, Interior Designer added this to Every Room Needs a Little Bit of Black
Even purple — as illustrated so magnificently by the lowly pansy — is complemented and enhanced by black.
Karen Egly-Thompson added this to Roll Call: Go Wild With Wood Veneer Wallcovering
While most wood veneer wallcoverings are available in a number of standard stain options, if you want a custom color, Laura Romanoff says it’s best to have it applied in the factory versus staining it yourself after installation. Otherwise, oil residue from fingers and brushes with other substances may affect the quality of the stain absorption.Material CostMost wood veneer wallcovering is sold to the trade and isn’t readily available via retail channels. Romanoff says the company’s wood veneer wallcovering retail prices start at about $10 per square foot ($90 per square yard). Considering that architectural wood veneer paneling material can range from $20 to $30 per square foot, a veneer wallcovering can be considerably more cost-effective. Wood veneer wallcoverings, Riker says, “are unique and provide a wow factor without breaking the bank.”Many wood veneer wallcoverings carry a class-A ASTM E84 rating, which is the highest value in terms of flame spread and smoke development, should there be a fire. The wallcovering specifications will include this information. Some manufacturers also indicate that installation with a low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) adhesive is permitted, so be sure to check that if air quality is a concern. Love the black and Matt black patterned wall! Offset with a warm but light timbered bedside table which and burgundy bedspreads and tall lamp. I’d love it if the velvet bed head from the previous pic was here!
