Do you have any idea what to expect for an antique swedish clock? I fell in love w/ one for $4800 and sounds like a lot but it is original and functioning. Just trying to rap my brain around spending that much. Thoughts?

I would recommend doing some research online as the range of pricing for these type of clocks is quite wide, but its authenticity and operating status definitely is a plus.

The wood used was 150 year old river pine from Alabama.

The spindles have a diameter of 1-½".

Let me see if I can help. From the far edge of the clock cutout to the far edge of the 1st stair tread is 8 feet. From the far edge (left side) of the clock cutout to the closest edge of the 1st stair tread is 9 feet. I hope that helps!
