Thank you. It is heated by gas, but it's a large and old house. It also has 4 zones. It's ridiculous. A newer system on our list of things to update. :)

Feature Radiators

If the radiators are not leaking, there is no reason why they shouldn't work really well. And if the system hasn't been maintained for years it could be full of air and unbalanced meaning the radiators don't heat up at the right rate. Even just a small investment in a plumber/heating engineer could make a huge improvement.

Further down the line, it may be worth investing in a new boiler if it is old, the efficiency is so much better now.

Whatever, don't throw the old rads away Nicole if you decide to upgrade, they are valuable!!! :)
