Ok The
I've travelled all over tibet, india & china & the 'swastika' symbol as we remember it has a much older heritage than hitler! I've seen it set in stone & Buddhist temples that are thousands of years old. It is a symbol of eternity, no doubt copied by Hitler! It prob had a similar good meaning to early American Indians. Hitler ruined its use for less informed people of this generation.

This symbol is used since Paleolithic age all over the world and it generally means "sun", "prosperity", "good". Indeed, Nazi's adopted it, but there is no reason to deny ancient cultural heritage.

This is a Nazi symbol:

That,

is going the opposite direction, and, as Olga mentioned, is a positive sign and is old as all get out. :)

This bed was Baker/McGuire from what I remember but it is no longer in production.

It's a Navajo piece and was bought in the 1960s by my client's parents.

Thanks for asking. We had them custom made because the bed and nightstands had to fit between two doors and the nightstands had to be just the right size. You could probably have someone locally make them for you. Good luck!

Yes -- sorry it took so long to respond. We had it mounted by Artworks Austin. 1214 W 6th St, Austin, TX 78703 They were great to work with.
