I feel that is a better question for your siding guy. I hate to answer questions when I am not an expert.

Dominion Granite & Marble
I would suggest one of two options: something in golden color with lots of contrast against the white cabinets and backsplash: I like Golden Crystal, Magma Gold & Cream Leaf. The other way to go is a clean all-white look - for this I'd either go with a white quartz (like Caesarstone's Misty Carrera) or white carrara marble. If you are going to do marble in your kitchen, make sure to at least get honed material - if you're in the DC area, we do a special acid-wash finish to keep etching stains away.

I would use a light color counter. Try to pull some of the white from your appliances, which will be the closest to the counters. Granite is a good choice if you also, want to pull the color of your cabinets into the counter. Be careful some of the granite can be very expensive. However, they do have remments, if you don't need large pieces, which can save you $$$$, if you go for the more exotic colors. Good luck.

I think If you incorporate both white base cabinets and black wall cabinets been a gally kitchen all black will look too small. Then use Silestone ( Quartz) @Home Depot They have color Top that resample marble which has white background with the black grain, I will go with square chunky edge , Quartz is excellent choice maintenance free. Then I will tide all together with brushed nickel handles , Faucet and stainless steel appliances .

I would go with cherry hardwood floor clot as it goes very well with maple cabinets. Thanks.

I ended up getting a separate unit because the downdraft built into cook tops are not very good. I got the KitchenAid retractible downdraft system. it was a pain to install, but works great. be sure you read the installation manuals thoroughly to ensure you have enough room and then have it professionally installed.
