The wooden bar counter and the wooden bench on the right side of this photo were designed by Amato Sole, a manufacturer of furniture and lighting. Coe often works with the company on his projects.The painting is by Maria Pinto, a Chicago artist and fashion designer and Coe’s good friend.Coe is very involved in Barcelona life. He has volunteered for the Red Cross for six years and helps out at a homeless shelter. What does he like most about the city? “The architectural mix, the Mediterranean light and the life you can always find in the streets,” Coe says. “I never get tired of riding my bicycle or simply walking in Barcelona.”
