This was salvaged from a an old casino and is likely a mix of hemlock and pine. The finish is just a clear urethane, but I would go with something "greener" these days like Polywhey from Vermont Natural Coatings - it is just as strong and no nasty VOC's.

These doors are each 2' - 2" x 6' - 8" and as the Supa Doors person suggests you should look at each manufacturer's layouts to get a satisfying composition.

Each closet door is 2' - 2" wide by 6' - 8" tall and the trim is 4 1/2" side casings with 5 1/2" head casing.

The closets on this side of the room are simply hanging rods, with a shelf above. There is a switch in the jamb of the doors which activates a light switch when they are opened. The other side of the room has more elaborate casework for clothing storage.

These are dummy knobs and we used a heavy duty ball catch at the top of each door. You can just make out the hardware in this image.
